Madelon (madelonw) Are you looking for a review of the story or the entire book.

I am interested in this, but I am currently reading something for review. I don't like to commit to a review without advising the author where his or her book or story stands in my 'to be reviewed' list.

description

I am currently seeking reviews for my latest release PORN AGAIN. The synopsis is as follows:

“What’s it like working in a sex store?”

That’s a question that Harper ‘Happy’ Downman will soon learn the meaning of…in more ways than one.

The poster child for middle-class America, Happy is your typical button-down, conservative Christian American with a quaint home, a lovely wife and a dull sex life. At the height of the Great Recession, a drastic turn of events in both his personal and professional life rocks Happy’s world to its very core. All seems lost…that is until his lecherous older brother comes to the rescue with a ‘stimulating’ solution that’s sure to raise more than just eyebrows within his eccentric family.

Relocating to the decadent, hedonistic streets of New Orleans, he soon finds that he’s way out of his league. In a world of porn, sex toys and interesting characters, Happy takes a memorable journey of sex, love and relationships that he will never forget.

Porn Again is a funny and insightful romp proving that it’s not always the people who work in a sex store that you have to worry about. Sometimes it’s the people who shop there.

A tale of faith, love and sex toys. Read it with someone you ****.

Mercedes Torres | 1 comments Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some honest reviews of my new novel The Fear of Falling
The Fear of Falling (Toxic Love #1) by Mercedes G. Torres

SYNOPSIS
Anna Tate is an anti-social seventeen year old who has always lived to please her cruel and abusive mother. When Anna’s mother sends her to live with her estranged grandfather leaving the only home she has ever known she is forced to confront who she is without the influence of her mother. Anna is befriended by the handsome and taken next door neighbor. She clings to him for emotional support and inevitably falls in love but soon becomes lost and desperate when he does not return her love.

Anna’s life becomes a journey of love, obsession, unrequited emotions and self-discovery as she is forced to choose between a boy that reminds her of home and the unrequited love she's always known and her true love, the one she’s carried in her heart for four years. If she takes the chance on true love she could lose the one thing that has reminded her that life is worth living, his heart.

BACK COVER
A Love story is not always about falling in love, or falling out of love sometimes it's about learning how to love. Sometimes learning to love is half the battle. Loving too much or loving too little can be toxic in either direction and all that loving yourself bullshit everyone is always talking about…well there is a fine line between altruism and narcissism when your sacrifices are made in vein, that’s a lesson we all learn the hard way.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in please email me at mtorres.books@gmail.com I can send you a digital copy in mobi, PDF or Epub formats.

Thanks!

The Girl Who Remained Elusive(Part 1 of a YA Dystopian Serialized Novel) by Whitney Pagano

If interested in reviewing, please contact me here: Whitney Pagano I can send a pdf to your email address.

QUICK BLURB

Some things you should know about me:
I’m seventeen. The world is gone to hell. I sleep in a cave with a couple dozen other people, hiding from a government corporation intent on keeping every single human being on the planet too doped up to be aware of their surroundings. As far as I know, we are are the only ones on this earth who still remain uncaptured and free from Isis’ claws.
Maybe we’ve just been lucky. Or maybe our success at sticking to the rule has been what’s kept us all alive this time. And here, in my world where human life has little to no value, and people roam the streets like half-dead unthinking corpses, there are many rules, but none more important than the Golden Rule:
REMAIN ELUSIVE.

Stay out of sight. Remain unseen. Because that’s the only way one has a chance to stay alive.

Lucinda Elliot (lucindaelliot) | 24 comments Hello, Everyone.
I'm looking for reviews for my spoof Hisotorical Romance,'Ravensdale' a take on a theme beloved by writers of traditional historical romance namely: Wild Young Viscount, Framed for Murder by his Conniving Cousin and Condemned by his Previous Wild Reputation, Lives as a Highwayman While Seeking to Clear His Name.
Here's the link
[[https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...]]
I hope that comes out - new pc and kybboard driving me madder than normal...
I would like to stress that this is a spoof, though it aims to draw the reader in anyway, and those who take traditional historical romance seriously almost certainly won't take to this.
Thanks in advance, obviously I'll provide a free epub, emobi or pdf for those interested.

I'm Amy Heugh, the author of Pretty Girl, my debut novel. I'm looking for honest reviews.

Pretty Girl by Amy Heugh

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

http://www.amazon.com/Pretty-Girl-Amy...

If there were one day that she could change it would be the day she was taken.

After her parents’ divorce, seventeen-year-old Izzy Scott and her mother move to the old town of St. Augustine to begin a new life, a life beyond the media attention and the memories of the traumatic experiences that left an everlasting affect on their family.

The former ballerina is trying to adjust to the outside world without suffering a panic attack and exposing who she is - all while getting through her senior year at a new school. That’s easy to say until she meets local boy Mason Winchester, a boy with a tragic past.

Mason has a reputation for violence, but a love for motorcycles. At the age of eleven he lost his mother to cancer and from then he has been running from something, but could never really get away.

Like any other angry teenager, he just wants to be left alone and to have nothing to do with anyone else because he believed that he had nothing to offer. That changes the moment he saw what was in the new girl eyes.

Tragedy wasn't new to either of their lives but among the secrets and the memories the one thing they both never excepted was to find hope.

Robert Benson Hi everyone,

I have just self-published a suspense novel entitled “The Scarlet Kingfisher.” It’s about the discovery of a new bird species and the characters (good and bad) who want to be the first to capture and possess it. The story evolves around a young ornithologist (Dr. Beach O’Neill) doing research on a remote river in south Texas. Beach and his botanist girlfriend are drawn into a terrifying vortex of violence and intrigue as an array of villains, both home grown and international, race to be the first persons on Earth to “have” this rare bird.

I thought writing the book was the hard part. I’m discovering that making it visible among the daunting array of Indie published novels is unbelievably difficult. I read that a new book is published on Amazon every five minutes. I’m hoping that some of you will agree to review my work (presently on Amazon and Kindle as of 26 Aug 2014) and that your review will improve its visibility. I will email you a copy in either mobi, ePub, or PDF format. Thanks for your consideration.

J.L. Metcalf (JLMetcalf) | 3 comments I just published my first novel, "The Last Daughter of Lilith" (available for purchase on Amazon and Create Space) and would love a review of my story. It is in the vein of JK Rowling and Stephen King. A fiction story about magic and the power one person can have.

In Katrina's ordinary world everything has a place and there is an order to life. In one day her entire orderly life is shattered. Her parents disappear, a handsome man shows up at her doorstep and she has to face a world she didn't want to believe in. She begins to face her family history and her own demons while gearing up to fight a battle that will decide the fate of humanity.

Ryan Riley (lryanriley) | 1 comments Hello!

I've recently released an ebook and I'd love to get some reviews/feedback on here and Amazon. Will provide copy. Here is the description:

If it were a real place, what would Heaven be like? Would it be the paradise we've all imagined since childhood? Would there be puffy clouds and angels playing harps?

Maybe at the beginning that was true, but since the first man arrived, things have gone downhill. If Heaven Were a Real Place tells intersecting stories about the lives of the people of Heaven as they navigate the complexities of a world as corrupt and hopeless as the one they left behind.

This is not a story of religion or a criticism of faith, but a dark exploration of humanity and how mankind could easily destroy paradise if given the chance. Go in with an open mind and a closed Bible because this isn't your Sunday school Heaven, this is the real Heaven, the one we ruined.

Here's the book. Let me know if anyone is interested in a free copy for a review.

Elizabeth Davies | 9 comments Hi everyone,

I am looking for readers to give an honest review of my latest novel, The Spirit Guide. It's a paranormal romance in a historical setting.

Here’s the blurb:

Seren has an unusual gift – she sees spirits, the shades of the dead. Terrified of being accused of witchcraft, a very real possibility in twelfth century Britain, she keeps her secret close, not even confiding in her husband.

But when she gives her heart and soul to a man who guides spirits in the world beyond the living, she risks her secret and her life for their love.

Lelia Eye | 1 comments I'm looking for someone to review my novel "Thorny" on Amazon. It is the first book in my fairytale trilogy. It is done in the vein of books like "Ella Enchanted" and television shows like "Once Upon a Time."

When a spoiled boy is forced to watch over a flock of sheep, he finds himself more interested in catching the eye of a girl with lovely ground-trailing tresses than he is in protecting his boring charges. But after he cries "wolf" twice, a determined fairy decides to teach him a lesson once and for all. She will give him what he desires, and perhaps he shall learn that some things are worth more than simply getting what he wants; some things are worth making sacrifices for.

L. Benitez | 3 comments Hello, everyone! I'm happy to announce the new release of my Martial Arts fantasy, Clash of the Clans. It's the official companion book to the first novel Shinobi 7: Trials of a Warrior. Its release is September 20th!

Here's the synopsis to read:

Get ready to fight, Sector 7!

It's Battle Month for the thirteen shinobi clans spread across Shaaku Den. A tournament where students represent their skill must prove themselves and their skills in the Ninjutsu Art.

The Kitsune Clan enters into the tournament, lead by the second-in-command Akira Miyamoto, who grudgingly brings along Sector 7. Not only is Sector 7 one person short of a complete team, but five out of the six members are new students and ranked as fresh meat.

Can the members of Sector 7 survive the tournament? Or will the nerves of competition and other shortcomings keep them from victory?

I'm a Martial Artist myself and an active participator of Shotokan Karate. I've been in many tournaments. This book is about the nerves of competition and overcoming them, the pressures you place on yourself to perform, and the support that can come from your friends and teammates. It's not about being the best, it's about trying your best and having fun!

If any of you are interested in reading this short story, please PM me with your email and I'll send off a PDF file. I'd love a review for goodreads and Amazon.

In addition to get ready for the book's release, I'm creating some swag and hosting a raffle on my author facebook page. You can enter to win a FREE print copy of Clash of the Clans! Go to my facebook page and click under giveaways

The raffle runs from the 10th-26th of this month. Please enter! :D
