Merida didnt sleep peacefully even though the dreams had stopped. Her thoughts were everywhere. She thought restlessly of Simon and of Bracken and his return. Merida lay awake in bed beside Simon. Staring at the ceiling and willing herself to sleep.
Simon woke a few hours later, seeing her awake. "Merida, you'll need to sleep sometime.."
"I'm trying." She sat up in bed and wrapped his loose shirt around her tighter.
"You have to clear you mind," he said as he sat up. He wrapped his arms around her waist and tugged her back so she had her back resting against his chest. "You have to be calm," he whispered as he leaned down to give her neck a soft kiss. His hands moved up to gently brush through her hair in a comforting way.
"i have to be calm." She whispered, shivering slightly as his kisses touched her neck.
"What can I do to help you relax?" he asked in her ear, arms around her. He snatched up one of the softened animal skin blankets to lay across her lap. He leaned down and kissed her jaw line, nuzzling her softly and lovingly.
"I dont know. You tell me." She kissed his mouth, tugging and pulling on his lip. Her body turned to face his, the blanket sliding."I'll fall asleep when I get tired." She smiled and kissed him again.
He kissed her back, laying back into the bed. He pulled her above him, moving his hand up to push back her hair. He wanted to mention Bracken but decided it wouldn't be the moment.
Merida kissed him back with a helpless passion. Her hands on the sides of his face.Her body felt warmer than it had before. The mere thought of him and her together now made her blush.
His sweet kisses deepened into something more passionate. He lifted up slightly to meet her half way, hands traveling from her hair down her back.
Meridas lips travelled from his mouth to his neck and back again. Her hands moving underneath his neck. She gasped for breath, her heart beating harder and faster than before
A soft moan escaped him. She would know by now where this would lead if they didn't stop soon. He sat up, holding her face in both hands. "Merida, can I?" he asked, hand tugging on her shirt.
Merida didnt answer. She pulled it over herself and placed a kiss on his cheekbone. Her bare chest on his.
He laid back in his bed, breathing heavy. "Merida," he breathed softly, cheeks flustered a little. He pulled her down to him, giving her a soft kiss.
A thousand thoughts ran through Meridas head. They had done it. She felt sore but returned his kiss."Hmm?"
"I love you," he said softly, kissing the top of her head. "Sleepy yet?" he asked, a small grin on his head. He hoped she actually had good dreams. What if he caused nightmares? That'd be a hit to his pride.
"I love you too." She smiled and kissed his jaw. "Yup." She closed her eyes and this time fell asleep against him. Her breathing evened out and he chest rose slowly.
He smiled, grabbing the blanket they had discarded earlier. He wrapped it around her. He didn't think he would mind if he had to help her asleep every night, if that's what she needed. He laughed at his thought, but quickly quieted himself.
Merida slept peacefully and only woke once to make sure she hadnt dreamt of Simon's presence next to her.
He smiled at her when she woke up once, leaning in to give her a sweet kiss on her forehead. "I'm still here," he said softly. He had pulled another blanket, bought in the village, up around him while she slept. He turned over on his side, spooning her from behind. He kissed her exposed neck, even though he was sure she had already fallen back asleep.
Merida woke up and looked over to see Simon still asleep. She kissed him lightly and got up, wrapping the blanket around her. She stepped over to the wardrobe where he had gotten the shirt from and took out a pair if pants and a black shirt. She pulled them on and left the room to find the kitchen.
Simon woke up thirty minutes later, yawning and stretching. Some how he had fallen asleep last night. He stood, wrapping the blanket around his waist securely and going out to the kitchen. "Morning," he said softly, a happy smile on his face. "I haven't slept that good since before I met you," he mumbled.
She turned her head and grinned."Oh really?" She continued to look at him, studying him with her eyes."Arent you going to put on some clothes?" As she said this, she stepped closer to him."Or do you plan on staying like that?" She winked at him while wrappping her arms around his neck.((I just realized its a middle ages rp....:/))
"Do you want me to change?" he asked with a grin. He rested his hands on her hips, rubbing them up and down. "I mean, I could.." he drew her even closer, as close as he could.(short post sorry..)
Merida grinned. "Ummm...let me think." She put on a mock thoughtful face but burst out laughing instead. "Oh!" She rested her forehead against his and looked into his eyes. The laughter was clear in hers as was her love for him.((is okay:) tht last line is soooo sappy! XD))
He laughed, leaning back. "You never answered my question," he said, brushing kisses across her cheeks.
Instead of answering, she stepped around him and headed back to his room.Opening the wardrobe, she started to shift through his clothes. Finally settling on a pair of black pants and a plain white shirt.
"Is that your outfit for me?" he asked as he trailed after her. He curiously looked over he shoulder at the chosen black and white ensemble.
"Um hm." She nodded and turned around to face him. Holding the clothes in one hand, she easily undid his blanket and then whipped back around, holding out the clothes to him."Hurry up!"
"You've already seen me naked, Merida," he laughed, amused by her reactions. He took the clothes, slipping on the pants. "Where are we going today?"The complete outfit made him worry She wanted to go to village.
"I dont know." She wanted to meet Bracken but didn't have the heart to tell him."Where would yoi like to go?" She slowly turned to face him.
"I wanted to talk to you about something. I saw you and Bracken.. I don't want you to be burdened with me." He touched her cheek softly, before pulling away and buttoning up the shirt. "Anyways, I wanted to go meet the werecat clan today. You'd be bored."
"Burdened? Thats a stupid thing to say considering everything."She mumbled under her breath, turning away from him and heading out of the room."Go meet them then." She called back to him.
He sighed softly. "Don't be bothered. I don't want you to worry about what you might have to say." He wrapped his arms around her, giving her cheek a soft kiss.
"I dont understand." She turned around in his arms to look at him.
"Don't worry I'll be mad if you say you want to see Bracken. If you want to see Bracken, do so."He kissed her fleetingly.

((sorry!! tht last comment got corrupted cause i wrote it while i was half awake!))Merida sighed. "I dont want to see him." She looked at his chest as she spoke so he wouldnt pick up on her lie.
He took her chin in his hand. "It's okay," he whispered, leaning down to give her a soft kiss. "I'll only be a little jealous."
Merida pulled closer to him."Right." She kissed him deeply."Your going to your clan now then?"
"I don't have to if you don't want me to, love."He gave her another kiss, wrapping his arms around her.
"Then dont." She rested her head against his shoulder."You wouldnt mind going into the village would you?"
"Um, no of course not."He stroked her head, holding her body. "Just let me put on my boots and grab my coins. They usually don't have too many suspicions."
