I did, actually raced, until I was in Grade 13 and was struck from behind by a little kid going downhill with no poles. I flipped over in the air twice, landed flat on my back. Travelled 40 miles by ambulance, broke 3 vertebrae, didn't get the feeling back in my legs for several hours. Never skied again. Have had back issues ever since, but I loved skiing. Started when I was three. My did was a founding member of a local ski club, so it was something we did together. Tried cross country...hated it! TPBM

Yes-I got rid of a lot of teaching materials that I spent hundreds of hours creating, but had no need for them after I retired, and they were specific to me, and not useful to someone else- but it was hard to see all that hard work gone.TPBM
