What are your thoughts on this book being turned into a movie?

I think it'll be exciting to watch it because you'll get to re-live the book all over again.

The first movie looked like a low cost production of the book from the stand point of the capitol. The graphics sucked in areas and lets be honest, it looked like they took some cheep equipment out into the woods and filmed most of the movie. The acting was the best part (minus Haymitch - he was awful). It felt clinical - we rarely saw much emotion or Katniss connecting with anyone other than Rue. Her stylists were practically non-existant, Cinna was more a face than a person, her scenes with Gale were cold and detatched. I can't imagine the second being worse...

The second book was my favorite so hopefully it is good!! Plus Im curious to see how the part where Gale gets whipped turns out.

The first movie was not well done; bad handheld camera, not enough background music so certain scenes looked awkward and just the way they portrayed it. It was a decent movie but they could have done much better! They switched directors for the second one so hopefully it will be better! I will definitely see it and I really hope it is better than the first movie! The cast is amazing so hopefully they will keep the good acting involved in a better, more cinematic movie! Can't wait

I'm very curious to see the arena for this one in live action... Am I the only one? I found this arena to be absolutely fascinating!
