Yes, but their lives were only as comfortable as the men they were dependant on let them be. I think in real life, Jane and her sister and mother had to worry about making ends meet, while Jane's brother got the family inheritance and was living at his wife's family's estate. I think that was why Jane visited friends and family for extended amounts of time.

I work for Tommy Hilfiger, as a technical designer. We make sure the designs are wearable and make pattern corrections to insure the garment fits properly.

oh I love shoes... I have about 300 pairs.... I adore shoes but books more and have a lot of them too... but they are not just taking up space... my family borrows my books a lot and I keep tab of who has what. lol

I'm a new member also and I felt the same :) I just followed the instructions at the discussion 'new members start here' and that's it. I just posts anything that reflects my interest. If you look at my corner there's nothing much on it it takes time to build a good one. Try visiting other members corner it might help :)
