I'm Diana, I'm 32 and currently live in Vancouver, Canada. I like to play tennis, I teach yoga and... my cat is famous on Instagram :).
I moved to Canada in 2013 and out of this experience, the hardest I've had, a book has "emerged". My wish is to make anyone's move to another country easier, faster, cheaper and more pleasant... unlike mine.
I appreciate you for being here, for reading and for being open to the world. I believe that by reading you become a better person and you contribute to a better world. Thank you for doing that :).
Much love,
Diana

I'm Luis Trivino I am American Indian/Hispanic, a War Veteran, Father and Husband.
My wife has Border Line Personality disorder (BPD), PTSD, Depression and Anxiety. I suffer from PTSD and Bipolar I. My wife went through some delusional states when she had a change in her medicines, the stress of trauma therapy and anxiety all took hold of her at once causing a BPD Split. During this whole phase she asked how I could love her and be married to someone "So broken?".
In response during a Bipolar manic while trying to control and avoid my PTSD triggers I wrote a book in 23 hours detailing all of my traumas and how I strive to work at being normal since I was a child. My wife said we have a "Notebook of Love" so I write in hopes my notebook of love will bring her back to reality. That's why it is titled as "A Notebook of Love: My story on Mental Health".
I write it from a Male perspective. We men grow up as young boys being told "Be strong, be a man". When we run into stressful situations we lack the tools to solve problems. In turn it affects our mental well being, our relationships, and leads to violence, addiction and the list can go on. Simply because we are being dismissed as "He is a man, he will figure it out". because if this mentality are men be a a major issue in relationships? Is being a man another way of saying he is a narcissist? Veterans we tend to think differently and PTSD only complicates the issues, I discuss my own issues and resolve that have helped me and my marriage.
As I go through my whole story from my beginning to my present I detail everything with my self analysis and exercises I have learned to "Be normal". With all of this I wish to promote the decriminalization of any mental illness, encourage men to make their mental health a priority to better ourselves, our relationships and community.
In order to break the stigma we have to bring it all into the open, including us men.
Thank you
Luis

In any case, I'm also a writer. Of things. Mostly horror-comedy novels but have a few unpublished things here and there that are straight scifi horror, or scifi horror-comedy. You know, the thing that will not die (in my head, at least.)
So, books. Like 'em. Love 'em. Have any favorites?

I'm a student from Britain. I've never been overseas and I'm wanting to read about life at all points of the compass.

I'm Mary from Northern Ireland, U.K. and I want to make new book friends. I like most genres but favourites are fiction and thriller. Add me I'll add back 💕📖

I’m Colin Green, a diplomat-turned-author with a passion for exploring how language and culture connect us. After traveling to over 50 countries, I’ve seen firsthand how words and traditions bring people together. I’m excited to be part of this group and can’t wait to share ideas and learn from you all!
Looking forward to connecting! 😊

My name is Richard John Currie and I am from Aberdeen, Scotland. I decided to go on a backpacking adventure to see the world in 2012, and since then I have travelled extensively in SE Asia, with my main residency being Cambodia (which is currently where I am situated).
I have written two books (which I shall not name here because I don't want to get flagged for spamming when I am barely five minutes in the door). I am a huge movie nerd, my favourite films are Die Hard Robocop, When Harry Met Sally, and Aliens. Book wise I love reading about the film industry: Rebel Without a Crew, The Disaster Artist etc.
Interesting facts, I really don't know where to start? I've worked in the film industry on and off for twenty years, I used to own a hostel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia..... And I acted in a low-budget movie which still brings me random recognition to this day.
That's all for now folks.
Regards Richard

My favorite book, is the one I just wrote https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
