Ralinda Aspey The Song of the Lioness quartet by Tamora Peirce. It follows a similar plot idea about a girl who has to hide her identity to be trained as a warrior--she's one of my favorite authors. Check it out.

Marija If you want a book about dragons, I would read Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. Great book, but it's main similarity with Eona is that it has dragons. Nothing much besides that. BUT, it is a good book.

Prince-chaos Knight I love the first book of this pretty good, i want to read this one now

Lindsay I stumbled upon Eon and Eona by looking into the sorts of books people read after reading Incarceron and Sapphique. There's not much similarity of theme, no dragons or emperors, but there are similar power struggles, some distrustful intrigue, and very intricate, complicated character relations. I read Incarceron (thankfully) after Sapphique was already out, so I didn't have to wait for the next installment, and it's a good thing, too, because I absolutely couldn't put it down. And Eon/Eona reminded me of that. In the case of both series, I was absolutely absorbed in the characters and their struggles. So maybe give Incarceron by Catherine Fisher a try?

Yassie Try Graceling and Fire! Bitterblue was boring but I loved how the characters from the first two books met at the end~

John I too loved the Eon/Eona series. You would also like Graceling which I see posted earlier and I also liked Joseph Lallo's Book of Deacon series and the series started by E.H. Kindred, "The Immortal" up through "The Mirror of Dumsaro"

♪♫Gloria♫♪ The Graceling series by Kristin Cashore: Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1) by Kristin Cashore Fire (Graceling Realm, #2) by Kristin Cashore Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore ... The Eragon series: Eragon (Inheritance, #1) by Christopher Paolini Eldest (Inheritance, #2) by Christopher Paolini Brisingr (The Inheritance Cycle, #3) by Christopher Paolini Inheritance (The Inheritance Cycle, #4) by Christopher Paolini ... Like it said above, Try Incarceron by Catherine Fisher, Incarceron (Incarceron, #1) by Catherine Fisher , But don't read Sapphique, because it SUCKED. The Immortals Quartet by Tamora Pierce: Wild Magic (Immortals, #1) by Tamora Pierce Wolf-Speaker (Immortals, #2) by Tamora Pierce Emperor Mage (Immortals, #3) by Tamora Pierce The Realms of the Gods (Immortals, #4) by Tamora Pierce .

Rin I was about to say Eragon x)

AND OMG YES incaeron was pretty good and sapphique

i dont know what the author was thinking

Jackie Anything by Tamora Pierce, like Gloria said. I would also recommend The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson.

Johnathan Nakaahiki It's Not like Eon or Eona, but it has dragons. So, try Th Last Dragon Chronicles. I think it's a good series.

Ashy I think you'll like Laini Taylor's Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. Daughter of Smoke & Bone

Jaelin Kwon I think you should try either Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff or Shadows on the Moon by Zoe Marriot

Micah I've read almost all of the books suggested above and many of them are just as amazing as Eona. (Graceling and Bitterblue are tied with Eona).
