My question is about Without Fail. I have just finished it and haven't read further in the series. So if the answer to my question will be later revealed you can just say that.
Here is my question--in the Killing Floor we meet Molly Beth Gordon. I thought she was engaged to Joe. But in Without Fail we meet a different girl who makes it sound like Joe would have never gotten involved with someone he worked with. And was in fact involved with her, Mary Ellen for some time. So can anyone shed a little more light on the these women and Joe for me?

I know I’m (very) late to this party, but I just started the Reacher books after my husband nagged me for 2 years and of course I’m hooked! But I’m struggling with this book, Without Fail, because we met Joe’s finance in the first Reacher book and we know what happened there. Maybe I just need to keep reading but this book is confusing me so far!
