Rita (rita817) | 6 comments She appears in an office with four men that are unsure if she is safe. She is carried to the medical room and saved. Of the men she befriends one is human, one is a beserker, and one an elf. They are members of a military operation that protects people from vampires. She was trained in her dimension to project the royal family that was slaughtered before she was sent to the other dimension and begins to train with them eventually becoming a member of their group. Another soldier disgruntled by the fact the she got a position he felt was rightfully his sets a trap for her and she is locked in a cage with two vampires. She barely makes it through the ordeal and her "friends" get revenge by locking the soldier in the same cage and then blowing up the tunnel so that no one can get in or out. She falls in love with the elf but nearly marries the human soldier because she feels she owes him her life. At the last minute she changes her mind and goes to the elf that is at a remote cabin.

Only a week Rita? That's fast. I have books that I've been looking for for YEARS (decades even) so I am sssooooooo jealous of you right now. Happy too, but jealous. :o)

To make up for being so jealous--I'll shelve your book for you and move this down to solved. Am I forgiven?

BTW--also as pennence--this is free right now on B&N for the Nook. Didn't check Amazon, but if you have a Kindle it might be free there too, if you want to re-read it. If you don't have either, you can get a free app to read on your computer, phone and/or tablet.
