Hello everyone! Hopefully you have been able to purchase or borrow this week's weekly read, Clockwork Prince, and are ready to read. For those of you who have not yet read Clockwork Angel, I would recommend doing so before starting this book.
This book is on the long side and would be a challenge for the average reader to finish in a week. Therefore, it will be read over the course of about a week and a half, overlapping slightly with the next weekly read. As always, I ask that you not read ahead in the book, as you may accidentally post spoilers in your discussion comments. If you have already read the book and are rereading it now, then refrain from posting any material from future chapters.
Reading Schedule*
Sunday: Chapters 1-2
Monday: Chapters 3-4
Tuesday: Chapters 5-6
Wednesday: Chapters 7-8
Thursday: Chapters 9-10
Friday: Chapters 11-12
Saturday: Chapters 13-14
Sunday: Chapters 15-16
Monday: Chapters 17-18
Tuesday: Chapters 19-20
Wednesday: Chapters 21-end
Our first discussion will begin on Sunday. Everyone is welcome to participate, but please do not begin posting until you have completed the designated reading.
Thanks,

I own this book and read it a long time ago and I loved it. I can't wait for Clockwork Princess to come out next month and can't wait to read Clockwork Princess.

(view spoiler)
This is the best book I ever read. and that's saying something.

I say maybe a month or less because she just lost her brother and a lot happened and in the beginning of Clockwork Prince she seems calmed (a little)

I agree with pretty much everything you said. I loved all those scenes and I loved the character development. LOVE LOVE LOVE! In Clockwork Angel, I just thought Will was another Jace, though I still love him either way. But the way he treated Tessa I just wanted to punch him in the face. Then Clockwork Prince comes around and I get punched in the face because of Will's backstory! It hurt my heart! And honestly it's impossible not to love Jem. I seriously love them both and right now I'm just counting down the days to Clockwork Princess. I really can't wait this long!
I agree, my favorite of the series by far!!!

With the help of the handsome, self-destructive Will and the fiercely devoted Jem, Tessa discovers that the Magister’s war on the Shadowhunters is deeply personal. He blames them for a long-ago tragedy that shattered his life. To unravel the secrets of the past, the trio journeys from mist-shrouded Yorkshire to a manor house that holds untold horrors, from the slums of London to an enchanted ballroom where Tessa discovers that the truth of her parentage is more sinister than she had imagined. When they encounter a clockwork demon bearing a warning for Will, they realize that the Magister himself knows their every move—and that one of their own has betrayed them.
Tessa finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, but her longing for Will, despite his dark moods, continues to unsettle her. But something is changing in Will—the wall he has built around himself is crumbling. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers about who she is and what she was born to do?
As their dangerous search for the Magister and the truth leads the friends into peril, Tessa learns that when love and lies are mixed, they can corrupt even the purest heart.
