How many books do read in a day?

I read most of my books at night because I'm really busy during the day, so in a day, maybe thirty or forty pages. But at night, I can read about two 400-600 page books a night.
I prefer reading slowly to devour and taste it completely, so usually just one book a day. When I have a busy school week, it could took me a week!

O_O How can you even read that many in one day?? It usually takes me two or three days to read a 300-400 page book. Not that I am reading all day - I have school/work/plenty-of-other-stuff that takes time away from reading.
I am a slow reader though and would not mind getting through books(textbooks included) a little faster. Just yesterday, I was googling how to speed read. I think it will take me a while to increase my speed to speed reader level....

I can read like Elle said, but I have to have large chunks of time. If I am balancing my "normal" life give me a couple days for 300-500 page books because I only read an hour or less.
I know people who skim, and say they read a bunch of books, but I don't think skim reading is the same as reading every word...

It's totally fine! I have no issue with how fast someone reads, they are still great to talk about a book with :)

I would like to have the time that you have :) I read during lunch and that is about it! (I mean you could comment that I could read instead of being on Goodreads, but I am doing other stuff that has to be done and just have Gooodreads pulled up in the background).
