I liked it but it wasn't all that and a bag of chips.
It was just a bit too gory for me. Several people have this labled as PNR. I can tell you there is no Romance at all. I thought for a bit it was building up, maybe even a triangle but both fizzled before they even started and seemed pointless to have even been mentioned.
I may continue on with the series, if it fits a challenge, but for the sake of the characters I am not rushing out to get the next one.

Definitely worth continuing on when you can.
Finally got my laptop repaired , had to get a new hard disk and os , but thankfully internets back.
Thanks for last week Regina!

Thanatos has been my favorite of the horsemen since they were first introduced. I was bummed that I had to push back reading his book, but by the point I was going to read it last year I was a little burnt out on the Lords of Deliverance. And now that I've read it, I'm mad that I waited. Thanatos is so awesome. He's hot, badass and so freaking sweet. I want a Thanatos of my very own.
Knowing what the next book is about, I couldn't figure out how that was going to work out. Larissa Ione is so great at creating an amazing world and awesome twists and turns that you don't see coming. I can't wait to read the next book and see how things work out for the Horsemen.
I will post my review up in an hour or so , just so you all know :)

I waffled between 3 and 4 stars and decided to split the difference. The book is marketed as PNR, but it barely qualifies if you ask me. Most of the book is spent on story lines other than the hero's and heroine's romance. It also lacked a true HEA ending. It's similar to the way JR Ward's BDB books have become more UF with a splash of romance (although not nearly that bad). The book was way too long. Way way way too long. Mostly because there was too much going on. (view spoiler) The author is clearly continuing and building on plot lines from earlier books, but it's just too much, if you ask me. Even the ending went on and on and on.
BUT, it was funny and sarcastic and I like the characters (even if there are too many at this point). I'm just hoping the next book is a little more concise.
Also, I don't generally notice typos. So if I notice them they must be plentiful. And there were several.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I listened to the audio and it was narrated by the author. She does such a good job reading her books. She fully conveys the emotion. Ms. Zarr captures the emotional conflict of a teen so well. This is not my favorite Zarr book, but then her others are so amazing. Yet this book is really really good. Her books are emotional and I become the main character during the course of reading it. I highly recommend anyone of her books.

Of course once I started I couldn't stop. Just finished the book and it was a beautiful ending to a great series. Aside from the Ma'at dead plot, everything was wrapped up so freaking perfectly. Sometimes when a series ends I'm a little disappointed with the way it's wrapped up, but this one was extremely satisfying.
So many powerful and emotional things happen in this book. I wasn't sure how Rachel Caine could fix everything that she had done in the previous books, but she did. I am so, so glad I gave this series a second chance. I'm sad that I am done with Jo and David, but glad that I have something else to move on to in the Outcast Season Series. I liked getting a look at Cassiel and Luis in this book cause it gives me an idea of what I'm in for, it'll be interesting to see where their books take place in the Weather Warden timeline. Hopefully we'll get to see a little of Jo and David no matter where the Outcast Season books fall.
Wow ! We are finishing really fast this week , I will also be finishing my book today and have my review posted by tomorrow!

I love it when an author takes a character than I don't think I'll like and transforms them into one of my favorite in the series. I was wary of Sin going into this book. She seemed like one of those heroines with a bad attitude that treats everyone terribly for no good reason. Luckily in Sin Undone, we find out why she pushes everyone away. And at one point, (view spoiler) It was an unexpected move to me, and one that isn't often shown with these super strong, alpha women. And instead of seeming weak to me, she seemed real. This book had the very rare occurrence of me liking the heroine more than the hero. Not that I didn't like Conall; he was pretty great too. But I think Sin is my favorite heroine of this series so far.
Nice secondary semi-romance with Luc the werewolf paramedic. I wish that this could have been fleshed out more/been more "HEA" OR, even better, been a whole separate book.
Is this the last of this series? Does anyone know? I noticed that Ione's Lords of Deliverance series is apparently a spinoff of this one, since we met one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Yeah, I figured out that if I don't get the book read before I go to work on Monday, then I have to rush through it after work Friday to get it done before Saturday afternoon. LOL. That's why I finished so fast.

Frexing Amazing. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. Each twist and turn was awesome and most unforseen surprises. Words can not express how much I have loved the adventure of this series.

Sorry to hear that Dawn, hope they get better soon, and that you don't come down with it!

Dawn I hope the kids at your house are better!

So I enjoyed this book. It wasn't the best psychological thriller I have ever read but it was decent. It kept me guessing, had me nervous and surprised me. All what a reader wants when taking in a psychological thriller. I loved the setting and I plan to read another book by this author.

Mine is done too , will post a review soon.

haha I was thinking the same thing.

I have books I really, really want to start, but I can't because I don't know what we're gonna get. I'm getting anxious. lol I put them on my currently reading list yesterday and then realized that I wasn't going to start any of them until after the card was called so I'll have to go back and update that. But really with my luck we'll get a card that'll bring up a color or whatever that I don't have planned to read.
