Julianne | 354 comments I love Keri Arthur too Sherri, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the book. I've been dying to read more of her series but skeptical as well because I'm afraid nothing can measure up to Riley Jensen.

Julianne | 354 comments Ok, I'm challenging myself to be done my book by early Friday, I really don't want to be writing my review from my phone on my break at work on Saturday again. :/

I'm pretty sure I'll be reading Eternally Yours (Immortal Beloved, #3) by Cate Tiernan

Review: As annoying as Stephanie Plum is sometimes, I still really enjoy this series. I've avoided spoilers concerning Morelli/Ranger/Stephanie, but I really hope this triangle is resolved sometime and not ongoing through the whole series.

Dreaming of You (Gamblers, #2) by Lisa Kleypas
Title: Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas
Date Completed: March 12, 2013
Rating: 3.5-stars
Review: 3.5-stars Another great Historical Romance from Kleypas. I am slowly going through her backlist to catch-up and I'm liking what I'm finding. Sara is a heroine that was easy to understand and cheer along the way. Derek was also a hero that was a perfect match for Sara and even though it took him a little longer than I would have liked, it was sweet when he was finally able to confront his feelings and his past. So this was a winner and now it's time to move onto the next. :)

The Care and Feeding of Stray Vampires (Half Moon Hollow, #2) by Molly Harper
Finished 3/16
4★

A book by Molly Harper is always a light and entertaining read. This Half Moon Hollow series is a spin-off from her Jane Jameson series. Iris is not quite as funny as Jane, but still very likable and engaging. I listened to this one and love the narrator. She is perfect for bringing Harper's characters to life. I look forward to continuing with the series.

Sherri | 781 comments The Lady Most Likely... A Novel in Three Parts by Julia Quinn

Date Completed: March 12, 2013
Rating: 3 stars
Review: A sweet historical romance collaborated with three of genres best authors. Features the story of three heroines that find love and marriage at a remote country estate. The three ladies and the heroes were entertaining and I enjoyed the idea of a matchmaker party. A nice read.

Eternally Yours by Cate Tiernan
Date finished: 3/16
Rating:★★★★★
Review: I'm so happy. This book is the final book in the Immortal Beloved trilogy. The whole series is flashback heavy and this installment is no exception. We finally got to see our heroine mature a little bit which was nice. Overall it was a great ending to the series and I'll definitely be looking for more by this author.

Sorry if my review seems choppy, I've been writing it over my breaks at work and keep getting interupted.

I have no idea why I waited so long to start reading this series and I am probably one of the few people who has not read it yet. I have never seen True Blood, but I heard about the author and this series several years ago before the TV show came about. Even with all the hype, this book did not disappoint. The characters are interesting and the story is fast-paced with a nice mix of paranormal, mystery and even a few LOL moments. Besides Sookie, Sam was one of my favorite characters. I will definitely continue with the series and also look for True Blood on DVD at the library.

Review: Yet another book that's been on my tbr forever....and on my shelf forever...what was I thinking waiting so long?
MacKayla Lane heads to Ireland after her sisters murder and finds herself in the world of the fae. These are dark and sinister fae, just the way I like them. I really liked Mac as a heroine, I love that she's so much more than just a pretty face. I really liked Ms. Moning's writing style, I was hooked from page 1. I'll be starting the next book pretty freaking quick and will definitely be checking out her Highlander series as well.

Sherri | 781 comments Here is my review:

Widow’s Web (Elemental Assassin, #7) by Jennifer Estep

Widow’s Web by Jennifer Estep
Book Completed: March 21. 2013
Rating: ★★★★★

Thank goodness that this series has returned to what made it one of my favorite series; Gin kicking butt and taking no prisoners. This story is simply amazing and I’m so thankful that I didn’t give up on the Elemental Assassin series after By a Thread, in which I thought the series had reached its endpoint.

In Widow’s Web we get to sneak a peek into Gin’s lover Owen Grayson’s past life, when his ex-lover Salina Dubois arrives back in Ashland. Salina is not just back to pick up the pieces of her father’s empire which Mab had taken over, but to get Owen back as well. There are some heavy emotional scenes between Gin and Owen, which makes Widow’s Web one of the most poignant novels of the series. In the end the story plays out exactly as I thought it should but it was heartbreaking nevertheless.

As a side story, I particularly liked the play between Eva and Phillip Kincaid; an excellent addition to the series ensemble. I can’t wait to read Deadly Sting to see what Ms. Estep has in store for this amazing cast of characters next.

Sherri | 781 comments Whew! What a crappy day.

I've been having two rooms in my house renovated; one of which is my office. So the computer has been offline since Monday when I emptied the room. I set it up this morning and nothing would work as it supposed to. I ended up re-installing all the modem, router and microsoft software. Of course, I have none of the product keys or installation instructions available since they are packed up in one of the boxes that are all over the house, so I spent alot of time opening boxes and poking around in them. At least I've got the computer running now.

Now to get the printer working. Sorry for the total mess up guys, I thought all I would have to do is connect the wires and the magical black box would work. Now I know better. I totally deserve a drink right now and am going to make myself one. :-)

Rating: ★★★☆☆
Review: Book 9 in the Psy-Changling series. It's Indigo and Andrew's story - they are both wolves and members of the SnowDancer pack. It was a good story, but a couple things irritated me - like all the dominance stuff. I guess I just don't like these types of stories. Or I'm just in a pissy mood and won't like anything I read at the moment.

Title: Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs
Date Completed: 3/30
Rating: 3.5 -stars
Review: It's taken me forever to continue with this series. That's mostly because Charles and Anna just aren't my favorite Briggs couple. This one improves on the last in the series, but still doesn't have me rushing to read the next. Solid, but not stellar.

Sherri | 781 comments Week 9 –Cover – Purple Cover

Sweet Trouble (Bakery Sisters, #3) by Susan Mallery

Sweet Trouble by Susan Mallery
Book Completed: March 29, 2013
Rating: ★★★½

I can always rely on Susan Mallery to deliver a heartwarming romance. Sweet Trouble is the third and last book in the Keyes Sisters Trilogy and I have honestly been waiting for Jesse’s story since the first book. Jesse was a bit of party girl in that book and was involved in an incident that changed her family’s life forever. Sweet Trouble picks up 5 years later when Jesse returns to Seattle to confront old ghosts; one of which is coming to terms with the father of her child, Matt.

Matt’s character was at times frustrating and touching. Since Jesse left five years ago he became a changed man with a vow to never love again. But a child has a way of changing things and he begins to love again, but can he overcome his anger and desire for revenge against Jesse to admit to the love that once broke his heart?

The concurrent story with Jesse and Nicole is also about forgiveness and both of them need to face their inner fears to become a family again. Overall, a wonderful romance that has touching insight into family dynamics and forgiveness.

Endlessly (Paranormalcy, #3) by Kiersten White
Finished 3/30
4★

Endlessly was a satisfying ending to the Paranormalcy trilogy. I enjoyed watching Evie develop over the course of the series. She is still the same sassy character that made me like her in the beginning, but in this book, her maturity and composure when faced with tough situations is admirable. Her romance with Lend was sweet and sappy. The sarcasm and banter between Evie and the other characters had me laughing a lot. I look forward to reading more of Kiersten White's books in the future. I already have the first book in her new series, Mind Games, from the library.
