I'll try not to go too far ahead.. Unlike Hopeless... I started and never stopped. LOLUs? Reading a book that's NOT a tear jerker? All is not right with the world.. LOL!!! It'll be a nice break :)
Okay, so I read an extra chapter. I stopped before chapter 12. Chapter 10 seemed to stop in the middle of something, so I went ahead with chapter 11. Though, strangely, I think it's still unfinished.
I'll be back on later, in the evening your time like usual, so we can chat about it. I need some sleep before my shift in the morn. I want to give you a chance to read it since we only started an hour ago LOL.

this is better than I thought it would be. it's sad to say I had pretty low hopes for this one (probably why it took me so long to pick it up!LOL!) but I'm actually enjoying it.
but I'm little nervous about meddling little sister Anna. She may just ruin Greg's chance after he gets her :D

I had pretty low hopes for this one too. THe only reason I am reading it is for the author challenge. LOL So, I understand completely!I am nervous about Anna too! Especially, since Greg is going to have a hard time gaining trust as it is. I am sure she will find out about Anna and Greg's scene eventually.. that'll be rough.
I think we can finish it, eh? :D
I like it so far though! I am pleasantly surprised. I was wary the first few chapters.. but the more I got to know about the characters, the more they grew on me.
What do you think of Anna's love interest, the downstairs neighbor? He has no idea what he is getting himself into. LOL
Anna is SOOO pushy.. but it's funny!
Well...I'm DONE! yay! and finished the author challengeI thought it was very cute. You know, I didn't LOVE it but I was pretty surprised I liked it as much as I did.
Anna!! Although I think she's a little reckless with her behavior (going into a strange man's apartment alone! Ack!!!!)...I think she's cute. She's portrayed well. Scared to lose her sister's approval, meddling in her sister's life - perfect behavior of a little sister (especially when they lost their parents).
What do you think of Greg? Max? and Connor??
I think it's funny (but a little frustrating) that Freya is just so stinking stubborn! LOL!
I see you finished right after me! I didn't think you'd finish it so early or else I wouldn't have gone to bed before chatting with you! LOLIt WAS super cute! Truth be told, like you, I didn't LOVE it either.
Anna was very reckless! Though, I have to admit that she was really freaking cute! The perfect little sister.. I would trade her with my own LOL.
Greg was so adorable! I enjoyed his character the most BECAUSE he was so different. Most stories like this, the male is pining for the woman out of pure lust. Greg really wanted Freya to have and to hold. It was refreshing to read about a guy who has more honorable intentions, even if he reached it through less honorable conditions. LOL!!
Max was SO cute! I think he is a bit demanding, though, that may be exactly what Anna needs in a man.
Connor, eh, I didn't really like him so much. They had nothing in common and was a bit crazy. Why would he say/do whatever Anna suggested? What did he expect, to gain her trust through his fakeness? Ugh!
I enjoyed Freya stubborness. LOL

So, is it just me or do you think the cover has people on it that seem to be way younger than Frey and Greg were?!?!? I couldn't match up the cover with the story! LOL!

Yeah, I didn't expect to like it either. Though, I don't think I'll be dying to read anything else Kate Perry has written because of it. I know, right?!! The cover DOES NOT match the story, at all. I mean she DID go to the beach with Connor, but it was in the middle of the night. She also had a "beach picnic" in her office with Greg.. but I don't think either of those scenes could lead me to believe that cover. LOL
Yeah, I don't think I'll be running out to join Kate Perry fan club either! LOL!stupid pretty covers ;P
