i would recommend staying ten twenty feet away frm a book named 'a widow for one year' and please don't kill me 'the great gatsby' and in urdu literature 'iman umeed and mohabbat' and the 'series of unfortunate events'
I would say never ever read Ali and Ramazan. Its a book which seems to promise the trials between two friends but really its a book based around gay child prostitution and drug adiction. Plus the writing style is irritating
Don't read Aleph by Paulo Coelho. My rating for this book is divided in 2 parts. The first part is great, probably 5 stars. The second part, -10 stars. The first half is incredible, and the second half tells you Paulo Coelho is senile.
@Owaiz Sorry could help but laugh after your comments on Aleph. Is it really that bad? Was planning to read it in February
and i don't have to say anything abt the story of an immortal sparkly vampire who stalks 17 year olds

@Sairah I recommend the books :P.. They arent that bad espacially the first and fourth one. In the comtemporary Gothic literature its a good read though yeah not a masterpiece by a mile :(
oo and stay away frm a book named fight club.half of the time i tried in vain to grasp what the writer was trying to convey.he writes in an irritating way.probably thinks he is an original or something.total waste.some people love the book or even revere it i know.but its seriously not worth it.

It is. It's just that it pisses you off even more because you expect something good and get this.
Like sitting on a roller coaster with a thrilling track and finding out that it is in fact a children's mini train.
or
Going for dinner and seeing your hosts make all sorts of amazing stuff, continental, mexican, whatever. And when it's time, they serve you daal instead. So the fact that the first half is so good is what makes it worse. Like the LOST TV series, 5 seasons of this mysterious island and then the shitty ending. Even LOST retained some dignity by not explaining some mysteries, but Paulo Pagal just went too far with his imagination that it's more like a bad fiction. But you don't combine fiction this whatever Aleph's genre is. So, yeah, that bad.
@SohaibI am, it pisses me off when I think about it.
@Sairah
I knew someone was gonna say that. I like it too, sometimes, when it is full of chat masala. Which daal are we talking about? I love that yellow one. The one that's not liquid.
@Owaiz there are a few that piss me off too like Romeo and Juliet.. so I can empathise/sympathize with you :(P.S. I hate daal :P

Ignore failed. You quoted it. Haha. I take my question back. :P
Well I am recommending the James Potter series except the first book to be on the not recommended list.... Its just stretching imagination to such extents that it becomes pathetic.... It says that it doesnt follow what HP left... But for the love of God it changed the very personalities of original characters....
Dont read the book "The old man ans the sea" funny thing that the author of the book won a noble prize because of this book but I hated it because it was slow, sordid and the thoughts hardly made any affect.
Aalia wrote: "Hey, why didn't anyone mention TWILIGHT? I guess because it was already settled how dreadful it is."
Obnoxious, awful and horrid are more pronounced words for it. ;p

Robinson Crusoe read it in class 5 it is way better then "The old man ans the sea" but ya it was also boring and slow with a bit of appealing story.I read the first part of twilight and it was the like reading a five day old newspaper! It does creates a bit curiosity but never maintains it however in simple word it predictable.
Speaking of women's abuse and feminism, Edward bruised Bella all over on their wedding night.
leave it to you Aalia to notice something like that. XD ROFL.
