Shadow and Bone (The Grisha #1) by Leigh Bardugo is very similar and I loved it to bits. I would highly recommend it! http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...
I honestly can't think of anything worthy enough to put on here. I mean I don't want to suggest a book that was just "ok" in my eyes. It needs to be good.
Usually I can't think of books as 'similar' they are incomparable for the most part. Sure certain aspects may remind me of another book but its like trying to make the choice between a grilled cheese sandwich and chicken pot pie. Both are delicious in their own right, it all comes down to whatever you're in the mood for.

You read my mind Hannah!
Grave Mercy really reminded me of Throne of Glass a lot. Katsa reminds me of Celaena :)

LOVED shadow and bone!! seriously recommend it.

I can't think of any that are close to this. There's a lot of other books that I LOVE but none of them are close to this so...
I just finished Seraphina by Rachel Hartman and liked it very much. The love interest, Prince Lucian Kiggs, is (of course) a prince and also the captain of the Queens guard. Isn't that the perfect mixture :-)
♆Beth♆Queen of Awesomeness♆♫When We're On The Phone, And You Talk Real Slow, Cause It's Late And Your Mumma Don't Know♫ wrote: "I can't think of any that are close to this. Crown of Midnight had me in tears by the time I finished it.
"Queen of the Tearling" is good by the way.
Game of thrones by GRR MartinI haven't read the book (watched the show though) and some people call throne of glass a younger version of game of thrones so...
Ok not sure why but The Winner's Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski kinda reminds me about Throne of Glass though I like Throne of Glass better :D.
The ending of the second book of the winner's circle was heartbreaking. I can't wait for the third installment.
So, I just revisited this post and realized that every book/ series people have put down I have read and enjoyed. Awesome sauce.
There are 4 and a novella. 3 of them and the novella are already released, the Lara book will be released I think in fall.
Cinda Williams Chima's Heir Chronicles and her Seven Realms series kinda remind me of TOG... Hey even if they didn't remind me of this series I would still recommend them lol. They're that great :D.

Okay so some of these are veeerry different compared to Throne of Glass but I feel like they have similar themes. For example, most of them feature a strong female main character and most of them incorporate some form of magic. Also, some of these have been posted before but oh well...Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Red Rising by Pierce Brown (the plot of these aren't similar at all, but I feel like the main character of this book and Celaena can be similar. idk its a good book just read it)
The Ring and the Crown by Marissa de la Cruz
Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder
Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
The Winner's Curse by Marie Rutkowski
The Deon King by Cinda Williams Chima
Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman
The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale
Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
Shatter Me by Taherah Mafi
Personally I loved the Graceling series by Kristin Cashore. It has a very similar feel to it. I would recommend it for fans of ToG & ACOTAR.
I have read most of the suggestions, or want to anyway.I would only add Tamora Pierce's Tortall novels, specifically her Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen, as they seem most similar in plot.

I wouldn't really recommend it though, the plot is a rehash and the characters are boring. That's my opinion.

Nothing will ever compare to Throne of Glass but I recently read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. It's even a 2015 Gooodreads choice nominee!!
I recommend The Young Elites also. It is pretty enjoyable. And it's medieval and got magic, so it's a little like ToG. But yes I wholeheartedly agree, nothing could compare.
Lexie wrote: "I recommend The Young Elites also. It is pretty enjoyable. And it's medieval and got magic, so it's a little like ToG. The Young Elites by Marie Lu is sooo fantastic, the writing style is really dark and twisted and the characters are SO complex. I would really highly recommend it! I mean, of course it doesn't compare to ToG, but it's still very awesome.
Also, I dunno if ya know, but A Court of Thorns of Roses is another book by Sarah J Maas that is just beautiful. :)
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer are really good too!!! I agree that A Court of Thorns and Roses was great as well!!!
Amen to that! The Lunar Chronicles are definitely a very special and unique series. THANK GOD WINTER IS HERE. Although I'm also kinda scared...
OMG!!! I just read Winter and it was epic!! I totally Ives Jacin! He was almost as good as Wolf!! Almost.
Just read the second book in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series and it was great! Definitely a must read for people who like TOG.
