books are love | 21 comments Hi I posted my review in Amazon and on the book's page but I am also putting it here as well:
My thoughts:
Received arc through the goodreads making connections group in return for honest opinion.

Strap yourself in for this is about to be one fun ride.
From the moment you step into the bus station with him until the end you’ll be in stitches.

“Starting a book with the claim the androgynous ticket agent might be releasing pheromones irresistible irresistible Mrs. Potato Head isn’t going to win me any prizes in wordsmithing” is just the beginning of this crazy ride.

Once on the bus you are treated with such sarcasm and hysterical quips you’ll be laughing to tears. “Your carry on bag should be used to build a scarecrow to frighten off the riders.”

Once the girl gets on this ride, it goes off the rails. “once Gertrude got settled I said, so I’m your boyfriend? And she said do you want me to switch seats with Jabba? And there’s the Stars wars reference.”

The girl, he calls Gertrude, joins in on his adventurous ride and starts to read and participate in this written adventure as it happens. Even goes on “dates” at each bus stop.

“The bus has stopped and its time my Getrude and my “date.” I wanted her to go into the bathroom atthe back of the bus so I could knock on the door and pick her up for our date but she wouldn’t. She’s not much of a romantic.”

The moment for the second date he gets his bathroom moment: “For our second date I made Gertrude pick me up at my place. I had her knock on the door of the bathroom at the back of the bus. At first I was worried it would be a door to door salesman or a Jehovah’s witness. I need to get a peephole installed.

Even the descriptions when being serious are witty. The trip is one big adventure you won’t want to miss.

thanks and I hope you guys get to enjoy the humour of this book as well.
