message 60: by Shanai (new)

Shanai I have read Backstage Pass and all the books out in that series.. I have to say that they are really all different in terms of different kinds of love.. Also I have have read The Mighty Storm and can not WAIT until the next book in that series comes out! February challenge completed :D

Laila Jane (axlilxlala) Just finished Guitar Notes by Mary Amato . I agree with you guys, I absolutely loved it! I loved the friendship between Lyla and Tripp. I like to imagine that it turns into a great love when they're older. Now onto Breathe (Sea Breeze, #1) by Abbi Glines

message 63: by Gisbelle (new)

Gisbelle Glad you liked Guitar Notes Laila! Their friendship was very inspiring :)

I really enjoyed I Love You to Death by Natalie Ward . Very sad, but Luke could be my new book boyfriend. He was so kind and patient. I enjoyed how his music brought them closer.

Also finished reading Guitar Notes by Mary Amato . I have to admit I almost didn't read it because it was over ten dollars on Kindle, but I'm so glad I did. What a sweet story of friendship and music. I really loved it.

I also had Back Stage Pass in my too reads about a rock band so I read it too, but definitely not YA or recommend for under 18; very explicit.

Great mini challenge, this was fun. Often I look at all my to reads and don't no what to pick and this challenge gave me 3 quick choices to read! :)

Also finishe..."

Hi Chris,

I agree that this challenge was fun. I too have trouble choosing a book from my to-be-read list and the challenges help me weed through all the choices. If if weren't for this challenge I wouldn't have ever read Guitar Notes by Mary Amato , which I absolutely loved!

message 67: by Laila Jane (new)

Laila Jane (axlilxlala) I tried to read Breathe (Sea Breeze, #1) by Abbi Glines as a second book for this challenge, and I'm afraid to say I did not enjoy it at all and couldn't bring myself to finish. How many books did we need to read for this challenge? Cuz if we only need one, I'll say I completed it with Guitar Notes by Mary Amato =)

One should be enough :D

Congrats!!!!

I personally didn't enjoy Breathe either. It was cute and all, but just not for me, I guess.

Gisbelle Thanks everyone for joining! Y'all have been awesome. This month I am a bit busy with work and stuff, so I haven't kept track of the participants. Starting from next month, I am going to list all the participants. Thanks for understanding.
Lots of love!

Ashley Carmona (ashiejay) | 13 comments I read Breathe, and I'll be starting Forever my girl. I loved Breathe, but it really does leave you wanting more. Any good book leaves you wanting more :)

Ashley, did you know that Breathe is the first in a 5 book series?? The next three are out and I think they were even better than Breathe!

message 74: by Marialee (new)

Marialee (mbdepriest) I read Sometimes Never by Cheryl McIntyre . It was my second time reading it, but it was during February. The main character isn't necessarily a "rock star", but she does play the drums in a band. Pretty good book I think.

message 75: by Laila Jane (new)

Laila Jane (axlilxlala) I just finished Forever My Girl. The main character is a rock star. I do think it is for 17 and older as it did include a sex scene. Overall, I liked it.

Marialee, Sometimes Never is on my to-be-read list. I'm glad you liked it =)

message 76: by Gisbelle (new)
