I absolutely loved How It Ends by Laura Wiess and have read the book several times but it never fails to make me cry. A couple of other tearjerkers I loved include; The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy NelsonThirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
Forgotten by Cat Patrick - This wasn't a complete tear fest but it definitely had elements that tugged at my heart strings.
Thirteen Reasons Why- Jay AsherThe Perks of Being a Wallflower- Stephen Chbosky
Mockingjay- Suzanne Collins
Where She Went- Gayle Forman (I liked this one better than the first)
The Diary of Anne Frank
The Outsiders- SE Hinton
A Walk to Remember- Nicholas Sparks
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (this book destroyed me), and Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut (not necessarily the story, per se, but what it was about).
I cry REALLY easily whilst reading, but the ones that make me cry hard even on the second reading include:
The Outsiders by Mary.S.Hinton
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres
Paper Towns by John Green
Marley and Me by John Grogan
The Power of One and Tandia by Bryce Courtenay
Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski
Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh
Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling
The Outsiders by Mary.S.Hinton
The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres
Paper Towns by John Green
Marley and Me by John Grogan
The Power of One and Tandia by Bryce Courtenay
Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski
Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh
Harry Potter by J.K.Rowling
John Green is a heartless bastard, I've cried so hard when reading The Fault in Our Stars and Looking for Alaska. Also, Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Book Thief, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (the whole freaking book), Mockingjay, My Sister's Keeper, and probably a lot more (to come).
If I Lie, by Corrine Jackson. Great book. Very moving.A few others that made me cry...
Pushing the Limits, by Katie McGarry
Something Like Normal, by Trish Doller
Flat-Out Love, by Jessica Park
Please Ignore Vera Dietz, by A.S. King
Everybody Sees the Ants, by A.S. King
Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher
Captain Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de BernieresOnly Revolutions by Mark Z Danielewski
Looking for Alaska by John Green
Perks by ChobskyAnna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Rabbit, Run by John Updike
many more... but those mainly.

John Green is my new reason for buying tissues!
If I Stay by Gayle FormanMy Beating Teenage Heart by Kelly C.K. Martin
The Boy in the Striped Pajama
The Fault in our Stars by Jhon Green
Before I Fall by Lauren oliver
:'''( All theses books made me bawl my eyes out
Suzanne's Diary to Nicholas by James Patterson (I was a blubbering mess when I finished it). Also, almost every one of the books from the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. They are so full of emotion! You really get to know each character deeply and when things happen or situations arise in each of these books, I cry. Sometimes for good, sometimes for something unfortunate. The Warriors is a very moving series.
I bawled in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Don't pretend you didn't either, *shakes finger.* I KNOW YOU CRIED TOO! DO NOT DENY IT! (Me, whenever I think back to that book.)
Dorothy Koomson's Goodnight Beautiful, and My Best Friend's Girl. Also, Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros, was good.
Although these all fall in the adult catagory instead of the young adult one, if that makes a difference.
Don't ask me why I cried while reading this books, sometimes I start crying and I just don't know why. For example: I cried while reading The Catcher In The Rye. I cried when Phoebe was at the carrousel and Holden was watching in the rain. Very strange, I know, but it was a beautiful moment. I cried while reading a non-fiction book because they were describing the death of my hero, Frieddie Mercury.
I forgot to mention Cloud Nine by Luanne Rice--about a woman with a terminal illness who finally finds a nice guy to love. Not ya.
Not many guys here people. When a 52 year old male reads it and crys at the end, is he sad. Guess I'm sad then.Writing your own book and editing it comes a close second.
The Fault in Our Stars, Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay, Life As We Knew It, andThe Book Thief

I watched the movie for The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, and I did indeed cry. I'm looking into reading the book.
Besides TFIOS (I cried, dropped the book, then called it a stupid book for making me cry and drop it):Charlotte's Web
Pretty Birds
The Amber Spyglass - the most any book has ever made me cry
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - and I still can't watch the second movie without crying

I never did cry when I read 'The Book Thief,' but I did scream "Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax!" unbelievably loud and I'm sure all the neighbors thought I was crazy.

Hi :-) My book Charlie and Pearl is getting a reputation as a tear jerker, below is a facebook post yesterday (that I copied to my blog) and the replies from some ladies in the UK (who I don't know). Book is free right now on Kindle (24 hours only)Woke up this morning to find I’d been tagged in a few posts on facebook, by some lovely ladies in the UK (who I don’t know). They have all read Charlie and Pearl and loved it, but it made them all cry!!! One lady started a post asking if anyone had read the book and not cried, and here are some of the replies…
‘Charlie and Pearl made salty water leak out of my eyes.’
‘I cried like a baby !!!!’
‘Sobbed. ‘
‘I was bawling from about halfway through!’
‘I’ve just finished reading ‘Charlie and Pearl’ Have to say I cried like a baby at the end, such a moving story xxx’
Charlie and Pearl
"I stand here ironing" in Tillie Olsen's Tell Me a Riddle There are others, but that one so much that I can't read more than maybe five words in and I'm bawling.
I STILL cry just thinking about "Looking for Alaska" by John Green and "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein.
There have been a number over the years, but the first book that ever made me cry is Where the Red Fern Grows.
mine would be...1. Child called "it"
2. Tuesdays with Morrie
3. Anne of Green Gables
4. The Fault in our Stars

i literally just finished the fault in our stars
i sobbed from page 213 all the way to the end. like sobbed, like i was gasping for air and praying that somehow none of it was actually happening. because i seriously don't understand what just happened. life is so precarious and strange and wonderful and i miss gus.
okay

Besides TFIOS I can only remember If I Stay. That book is so sad, or atleast it makes you (and by you I mean "you reading the book", aka reader) sad.
I actually cry a lot… but i started being so sentimental when I first read The Notebook, and then I carried on with all the others Nicholas Sparks novels, crying every single time..
