"Father," he spat cruelly at the man.
"Calum, you're not looking very well today," his father said with a smirk.
"What are you doing here?" Calum snapped.
"Fine, if you're going to be that way, I guess I might as well leave."
"You'd be doing both of us a favor," Calum said, not looking at his father as he left.
As the door opened, he sensed it. A surge of human life. The sweetening smell filled his nostrils. He inhaled and concentrated on it. There was a human in the building. The human was nearby. And it was a female. Suddenly, the door closed, but Calum concentrated on the smell. And he could tell where it was coming from. A left turn in the hallway, and then another right. Door at the end of the hall. And now he was playing the waiting game.

"Come in," She said getting up to change.
"Are you ready?" Her manager asked.
"Yes I am," She said.
"Good I'll see you tonight." He said before leaving her.
Janelle puts on some gloves to cover her powers. She puts her hair up in a ponytail and takes her laptop out to finish something.

He pressed his fingers deep into the metal, concentrating. He felt a surge of energy. There were 4 vampires outside. Farther down the hall, there another 2 guarding the door to the human.
His throat burned with thrist when he smelled it again. The sweet scent of her. It had been so long since he had drained pure energy from a human.
He needed to feed on her pure essence energy. He searched his mind, finding a plan. And then he got it. He clenched his fist and slammed it into the door as hard as he could. It left a small dent in the metal, but his hand stung like crazy. And then he backed away as the door opened.
"What is it?" snapped one of the vampire guards.
Calum grabbed him by the neck as he and the guard struggled. The guard pinned him to the ground, but he grabbed the guard's neck and squeezed it with all his strength, hearing the sounds of bones cracking. Then, he pulled out his heart and consumed the energy with his hands. He felt himself shifting into the form of the guard. He left, closing the door. He assured the other guards that all was fine, when they asked him.
Then, the smell was overwhelming. He wondered what kind of human had this much essence of energy. He made an excuse about receiving a telepathic command and left. He headed toward the smell, smiling as it got stronger and stronger. He stopped, making sure no one was around. And then, he shifted into his father's form.
Then he turned the corner. The guards seemed to back away a little when they saw him. They nodded and stepped aside for him to open the door. When he did, the pure force of the energy hit him as he absorbed it all. He felt so strong, so powerful. The energy was giving him so much strength. And then he saw its source, glowing with the pure aura of energy. It was a girl in front of her laptop.

"Crap." She muttered. Janelle turns to see someone at her door. She hides her hands behind her back. Slowly slipping her gloves off. "What are you doing here?" She asked.
She felt the aura of her guards unkown of whats happening. She watches him waiting for any time if he attacked her she would attack him back. She knew how to kill people with her power it wasn't so hard. She could kill at the flick of her wrist and no one would know. But she won't ever kill.

Using his Shifter speed, he quickly walked up to her. Her scent was overpowering. He couldn't concentrate.
"I am here to speak to you of urgent issues. Please stand and look at me when I am speaking to you!" Calum said, still in the form of his father.

"Take your powers?" he asked.
I want to take more than just your powers, he thought to himself.
He looked down at the gloves on her hands, wondering why they were there.
In a shift movement, he moved one hand to her neck and pulled her off her feet. He dangled her above him in the air with his hand still around her neck.
"What are you?" he spat at her, feeling himself lose control as her energy surged through his fingers. He was beginning to shift back into his true form.

Now, Calum and the girl were at eye level.
"I said, WHAT ARE YOU?" he shouted at her.

As he stared up at her, something stirred inside him. Something familiar. And then he realized.
"Galadriel?" he whispered, grabbing her hand.

"GALADRIEL!" he yelled, grabbing her in a hug. He held her tight, a smile on his lips.
"But, but how can this be? How are you still alive?" he whispered.

Calum's hands fell to his sides.
"What?" he spat.
He grabbed her by the shoulders, looking deep into her eyes. Blue eyes. It wasn't right. Galadriel didn't have blue eyes. Hers were green. He dropped his hands again.
"You're not Galadriel, are you?" he asked, slightly turning away.
But his mind wanted to tell him it was. Maybe this was some kind of trick from his father. Maybe they had changed her on purpose.

Calum stopped. He looked at her.
"Galadriel, you said you were a telepathic? And telekinetic? How old are you?" he asked. The last time he had seen her, it had been nearly 3 centuries ago before he had been imprisoned.

"Calum, I'm eighteen years old. My powers have grown stronger and bigger since the last time we saw each other." She said confessing she felt safe but still felt confused.

"No, no, no. That's not right. Not right. You can't be only eighteen. Galadriel! What's the year?" he yelled.

She tries to think of a year her mind went completely blank. "I don't know." She said unable to answer.

He grabbed her wrist, holding it to find a pulse. It would make much more sense for her to be immortal like him if she was still here.

When he grabbed her wrist she wonders why her heart was beating she was alive. If she wasn't she would be paler and barely visible.

"Listen," he said. "I'm leaving here. Now. Do you want to come with me?"

"I'm sorry but I can't come with you. If I do it will cause chaos everyone will think I was kidnapped." she said.

"That's too bad," he said.
He turned and looked her in the eye, holding on to her arms.
"Because I'll have to take you with me!"
