Hi, I would really appreciate it if someone one could tell me the name and author of a book I read about six or seven years ago. It was part of the series "Fortunes of Texas". In the book the heroine is secretary to a very tempramental CEO who is also a playboy. the heroine is also in love with the CEO but the Ceo has no idea. Also in the end Ryan Fortune also dies. The heroine is part of the Fortune family. The Ceo and the secretary go on a business trip and on the way back are snowed in.

Fortune's Legacy (Fortune's of Texas Reunion #11) looks like it could be the one you are looking for. Heroine goes to sales conference in Colorado with senior VP and is snowbound. In book #9 Once a Rebel the heroine goes back to the "ranch to pay her respects to an ailing Ryan Fortune". So maybe he dies in #11.
