I read this book series many years ago, but I can´t for the life of me remember the title or writer.

to recap what I remember without spoilers:

They then attack the living to let the others through. I dont remember much more of the action itself except for the ending, but that would spoil the book for yall:-)

I remember them as awesome and I can´t wait to start reading them again.

And to those who are interested Earth Abides is one of the best post apocalyptic books I have ever read....try it out.
