I don't watch any of those -- the concept behind Deal or No Deal seems like the stupidest thing I could imagine spending an hour on, since as I understand it, the fate is pre-ordained.
I do kinda like Ninja Warrior. And "Cash Cab", on Discovery. It makes me want to start taking cabs in NYC instead of trains.

Double-Whammies!!! I loved the little purple monster thing.

I'm not really a big game show fan but I guess they're fun every once in a while.

I thought The Price Is Right was lame. Who CARES how much detergent costs, when you're eight.

But my favorite was To Tell The Truth. Do you remember that one?
I'm ashamed for my husband's sake that he watches AND ENJOYS Deal Or No Deal. Waaaah.
I'll try to find it, but I once saw a video of some of Alex's out takes, where he curses, and appears drunk! It was a real shocker. Alex Trebec???!!!

If they'd had a coherent backstory instead of lurching about like they did it would have been a perfect show.

When I was little I liked how the announcers on The Price is Right would say, "A neeeeeeew caaaaaaar!" But the actualy game part, notsomuch.

I can't handle how snippy, devious, hostile, shallow, backstabbing and downright cruel most of those shows are. Why do I need to have that kind of energy blasted at me from a little box in my room? I can get that stepping into the real world.

I got so into Damages last year, what a terrific show. And then I watched the first 2 episodes this year. After that Richard's been away it seems for months (back and forth but more forth than back) and I've kept the TV off for most of the time. He keeps telling me it's great, and has them all on DVR for me, but by now I'm 8 episodes behind and that's just too much.

"Cash Cab" is a good game show Sarah, we probably see it a couple times a week after work.

Oh, wait, Wheel of Fortune is still on. Right? And Drew Carey does The Price is Right. I think.
