Fiona McGier | 128 comments Coming on February 1, the sequel to the Mayan vampire novel Prophecy of the Undead. There were a few loose ends at the end of the book...specifically, the characters were waiting for the return of the aliens who brought vampirism to Earth. What happens when they return to "harvest" more humans? Will vampires reveal themselves to help humanity? Will we be ready for the return of the aliens? And will a much-maligned Chinese female scientist discover her humanity in the arms of a furry blue alien? Find out in Mayan Prophecy Fulfilled.

Fiona McGier | 128 comments Shelly from RedHotBooks.com had this to say when she reviewed Prophecy of the Undead:
"Fiona McGier where have you been all my life?!? This is my first but definitely not my last of her books. I’m actually hoping for a series out of this story (yes, this is a shameless plea)."

Well, Shelly, you're in luck! The loose ends that were left at the end of Prophecy of the Undead, are taken care of in Mayan Prophecy Fulfilled, available beginning this Friday, February 1st!

Keisha and Yuri, along with their other vampire friends, are still trying to change the world for the better. Keisha's discovery of the hormone in the brain that improves intelligence, is being altered to synthesize a formula to decrease intelligence so that when the aliens return to "harvest" more humans to take to their planet, the humans will be too docile to resist. Neo Ying (pronounced "Ne-ow") is the Chinese scientist expected to produce results. Keisha and Yuri head for China, to attempt to stop her. They receive help from an unexpected source: a tall, furry blue alien who tells them to call him "Frank", says he is a "Visitor" who has spent an eternity encouraging the dominant species on each planet to aim for the stars so they can become a contributing part of the universe. He is dismayed to find that one of his favorite species, humans, seem to have lost their desire to venture off the planet. He's returned to find out why.

Neo Ying is bitter, opinionated and sarcastic. Haunted by a past she tries to forget, and under the control of a megalomaniac of a vampire who brought her across against her will, she will do anything to survive. Can Yuri, Keisha and Frank convince Ying to disobey her orders to develop the "stupidity" hormone? And how will the world react when confronted with a large contingent of aliens returning to the planet after 5,000 years, to collect more humans? Find out beginning February 1, in Mayan Prophecy Fulfilled. Available at www.eternalpress.biz and the usual sources for romance eBooks and paperbacks.

Blurb: As a gifted child she was given to the state by her Chinese parents, leading to a harsh life. Her un-dead existence has been worse. When other vampires urge her not to further the destruction of humans, they bring a blue-skinned alien Visitor. She never expected to discover her own humanity in the arms of an alien; he never expected to fall in love. Can their passion bridge the gap between their races? And can they join forces to face the return of the Mayan aliens and save humanity?

Fiona McGier | 128 comments Hi everyone! "Real" life was exhausting for the past coupla days...had to work, run errands, etc. And husband surprised me by taking me out last night for dinner, then to a bar to hear some excellent blues played by one of our favorite live bands, "Howard and the White Boys", a bunch of guys who got together back in their college days at Northern Illinois University, right after I graduated from there. They've been playing ever since, often at places like Buddy Guy's Legends, the Chicago Blues-fest, etc. We listened, had a few drinks, and danced up a storm! Had a wonderful time!

Today I'm running out to get a few last-minute ingredients for snackie-foods for the Superbowl. But I'll be the guest author on Dawn's site, Loves Romances Cafe, from 5-7, EST.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LoveRom...

Come on and party with me for a little while before the game starts. I'll be sharing things like how to read Roman numerals, and why the Superbowl games use them when not many know what they are...also, I'll have recipes for things like my SIL's great Bean Dip, a quick guacamole recipe that's easy to make using stuff you probably have (along with an avocado), and my husband's family recipe for sloppy joe's, which is what we'll be having for dinner.
Oh, and of course, I'll be sharing excerpts from my latest book, Mayan Prophecy Fulfilled, which came out on Friday. The sequel to Prophecy of the Undead, deals with how humans respond when the aliens return to our planet, determined to take many of us back with them. Why? Hint: vampires.

Come on over and have a drink with me while we discuss the state of the world and how to make it a tastier place. I'll even offer a few eBooks for prizes.
See you later!
