HA, lol. I love them all for different reasons.

BUT, because the actor pick has totally ruined my image of Jace, Im going with Daemon.

It's a toss up between Katy/Clary and I love Dee over Simon.

I'm so glad someone made this topic. I have not read the Mortal Instruments and have considered reading it before the movie comes out. I LOVE the Lux Series!!

These series are so different on so many levels how could u fairly compare which is better? But on the flip side of that coin I would say the Lux kicks the MI's butt. I definitely like Lux better. I stopped reading MI after book 4

I read the Lux series and couldn't put it down until I was finished with all books. I'm really taking my time with TMI because it's not quite the page turner for me as the Lux series was.

So, I vote Lux

I can't choose, I them all because they are somewhat different in their different ways :)
I do like katy a tiny wittle bit better then clary, I can't pinpoint why.

I love Dee, love Katy/ hate Clary and I go with Daemon.

LOl. okay, I definitely say Lux then.

So I am a huge Lux lover and would 100% choose those books over the mortal instruments.. butttt for the characters

Clary vs.Katy, -- I like Katy better
Simon v. Dee - I DO like Simon better. He is one of my favorite characters in the mortal instruments and sometimes Dee just bothers me

The Lux series is so much better for me.

the mortal instruments..definetly. i love damon but there is just something so flawless about cassandra clare's writing

I love both of them and they are to different, but have to go with TMI.

Uhmm, yes, these two series are very different, and I think each character is fitting for the series they're in. No Jace-like character would be fitting to portray the part of Daemon, and vice versa.

But I'll say I love Daemon for BADASS category.
I prefer Jace for mild-mannered male character.
(obviously, I can't choose bet. the two of them)

Clary appears stronger than Katy, so I'll give my vote to Clary. Nevertheless, I loved Katy in Lux series.

The books are totally different in my opinion.

-But I wouldn't know who to choose if it came down to Jace or Daemon, they're total opposites.
Jace is blond, gold eyes & Daemon brown/black, green eyes.
But GAWD! DAYUUM! hands down, knees down, face down, ass up DAEMON BLACK, because he's sarcastically hot yet irresistable and I love it when guys get on your nerves, its just GAWD! (No words can explain it)
-Katy(because i love her sarcastic feisty-ness towards Daemon) &
-Simon (because he's totally adorable& What's not to like?)

I love them both Mortal instruments and Lux but damn Daemon!! I am so head over heals with him.

The books are worlds apart, not even worth comparing. But if it comes down to Jace and Daemon, i say Daemon all the way! Daemon is actually a good guy unlike someone...

Books are way to different in my opinion to even try to compare.

how can you compare these books? :) they are both beautiful and perfect in all the different and same ways. I couldn't choose even if there was a gun to my head between them. :)

TMI!!! Hands down better story better character's though I don't no why you'd compare these two series cos they're so different. Cassandra Clare has such a better style of writing that you cant fault it cos it flows really well.

But I do like Jace and Daemon cos they sort of have the same personality and i neva liked Clary or Kate they're like the main characters and they both manage to annoy me. As for Dee and Simon it no competition I prefer Simon.
