I am going to re nominate My Sister lives on the Mantelpiece by Anabel Pitcher. I learned about this book before it was available in the U.S. from the website Lovereading.co.uk so when I went to visit friends in England, I bought it there. I passed my copy on to several of my friends and really encouraged them to read it. I'm so glad it's available here because it is really a beautifully written book about family, grief, and letting go (I'd say this was a 3 hankie book)Even if we don't pick it for group read, I encourage everyone to read it.

I can't find these in the Bookmark's magazines to read about them there -- they may be there, but not easy to find. Could we have the issues listed (and maybe page)? That would help me. Thanks.

Okay - take that back about My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece - I see it was in the Nov/Dec issue. I just missed it.

Sure thing, Lynn. We can have folks list the issue and page number. That would be helpful to me as well, because I generally have to go back and page through the issue to confirm eligibility of the nomination.
