Fantasyland ~ New SOS Team Challenge ~

I did it for one book I knew had tons of editions - found every color of cover but yellow, LOL! - so that's my plan B.

I know this is yellow:

But what about this? Yay or nay?

Definitely Blue

The second one I would say it yellow too. Of course, i'm not a mod (LOL). JR Ward BDB books tends to have solid colors.
what would you say about this one? Gold/Yellow?

What's difficult is when the real life color is vastly different from the computerized color. My copy of

I've got a ton of RL stuff going on at the moment, so I thought something like this might be fun until our next round of BSB (no, I'm not sure yet when that will be - maybe Apr/May time frame).
For color verifications, I'm going to trust your judgement for the most part. Those that are in the range of the color your team lands on will be acceptable. If you aren't sure and want an okay, you're welcome to ask before hand. If you have to convince yourself that the cover fits, it probably doesn't. >;)
For instance, these are all acceptable as 'yellow':

If a yellow cover looks more orange, maybe save it for an orange spot and visa versa. Like I said, I'll trust your judgement. If it looks like a shade of yellow, it should be fine.
Start date hasn't been set yet. But, I'm leaning towards the last week of Jan or first week of Feb ~ it'll depend on sign-up cut-off, which has not be determined yet either - Details to follow shortly. For this first round, I'm thinking smaller is better. :)
Players will be shuffled into teams, similar to BSB. One person on each team will need to be the team's captain. That person will be responsible for picking a card each week, which will determine the team's movement on the board. Everyone will draw/move on the same day (most likely Sunday, but TBD).
The game is called Fantasyland because our group's focus is on all things fantastical. Books used during the challenge must be over 200 pages. I'd prefer books fall within a fantasy-related genre in sticking with the group's focus: Sci-fi, fantasy, PNR, UF, etc. But, outside genres will be allowed.
Similar to BSB, reviews must be more than 1 line and, preferably, include what you did/n't like about it. These games are a great way of promoting books to our members. You don't have to write a publish-worthy review, but any add'l thoughts you have about it are appreciated.
If I missed anyone's question or did not include your name on the sign-up list, please let me know. I'll be updating it now, so give me a minute to add everyone up to post #65.

Gotcha on the list, DG, Mary & Kerstin.

I should be able to get the rest of the prep done quickly and determine a start date by next week. Yay! I'm so excited to see so much interest. Hopefully it'll be another fun team challenge.
Stay tuned for our start date and team announcements. :D

@ Cristina your ( ) explanation/extra name is a crack up and I think might apply to many of us :D

I would love to play and if the back-up player is needed , I'll be ready to step-up!

LOL! That you did. ;)
Thanks, ladies! I'll add you (Cristina, Heather, Jackie M, Skandia, & Jeann) to the stand-by list. I'm sorry you missed out on the first round. I wanted to keep it small-ish for our first go in case we have some growing pains to work out along the way. If all goes well there are sure to be add'l rounds in the future.

I was wondering when the chanting would begin. YES! TEAMS!
