Peggy | 3 comments I read this book when I was young, probably late 70's.
Main character (girl?) Moves to new house /possibly just for summer. Has strange realistic dreams,I think about being a soldier but possibly someone running from a war situation. Becomes hard to tell difference between reality and dream.Main character ends up hiding in dark closet at end, implication being that she is following same path as prior inhabitant. Thanks!

Peggy--if you bump this up periodically--every month or two or so--you'll have a better chance at getting it found.

Was this a horror story? Or just a ghost story? I'm assuming you've checked the "usual suspects". (i.e. Goosebumps, John Bellairs, and Christopher Pike?)

Peggy | 3 comments Do I bump it up just by adding a comment at the end?

It was not a true horror story, although haunting. (I read it in the late 70s/early 80s, I'm 42 y.o., so way before goosebumps and c.pike).

I just remember the ending that the main character was hidden in this secret closet, clearly convinced that she (he) was this long ago person, and it was clear that no one would find her in there.

I really wanted to read it again. I've thought about it periodically over the years, but i think that reading Tatiana's key really brought it to the forefront again.

You can bump it just by typing "bump." Like any new comment, that brings the thread to the top.
