I read this one about 6 months ago and loved it. I loved these books so much that I have read all 19 and the in-between books as well. What are you thinking of the book so far Pasta?
I love the series. I haven't read the in between books yet but I will. They'll be on the reading list here in the future. Of the numbers I've read thru 16. I look forward to finally reading them all with the inbetweens in order. I have no doubt that the series will be even funnier.
I read these books years ago until I just decided to read other things. I thought they were fun and funny. I loved grandma. After reading a dozen or so of these books they started to seem more alike than different and I decided to go on to read other things. For the place I was in life at the time they were exactly what I needed. Sometimes funny and light is perfect. I am not going to re-read these but I hope you enjoy them.
I'm reading it now--about 3/4 done. It's ok, There are parts that are just not plausible or believable to me. I won't give anything away for those of who aren't as far along in the book as I am. I think it's better than the first one. I'm starting to get to know Stephanie and the characters. Grandma Mazur is a riot!! I ended up buying just about the whole set for $1.00/piece for the hardbacks at a used bookstore. I thought the series was different. I heard how funny it was, and I love cozy mysteries. I'm not seeing that in these. But, I have the books, so I might as well read them. Hopefully, they will grow on me more
