Hey, I'm a newly registered Goodreads Author and I've started a blog - but I've never done one before and would appreciate any help on offer! :) Details on following people's blogs, how often to update my own - anything like that!

Hi Amber!

I'm not the best blogger, but I do know the basics. And I'm not the best at explaining things either, but I'll give it a go. :D

To follow people's blog you go to their blog and on the side of their page you should see things like followers, follow by Email, etc. There'll be options like that which will allow you to follow a blog.

As to how often you should update your blog, that's entirely up to you. Somewhere around once a week is a good start. There are things like memes that help you get your blog started.

I hope I helped. I'm no good at this. :P

As a friend of mine told me, everyone's blogs are always a work in progress because changes are always being made. It is a great start and if can always get ideas from other blogs too :)

Thanks for the advice Cassandra :) My blog is very early stages at the moment, but I'm having fun looking at what others have done with theirs and being inspired :)
