I think it would be cool, if the series of unfortuante events was a tv show series, Swindle series, Brixton Brothers series, and Steel Trapp series.
Personally, I would love to see Harry Potter being given the serial treatment, just think, seven seasons each containing the events of one book, with ample time to explore the character development, and for some actors and actresses to actually have meaningful lines!

A brilliant idea!

I know right, I liked the movies, but I got the feeling some characters were only there because they had been there in the book, very little to no character development was involved, and they suffered because of that, in my opinion.Maybe each chapter could be an episode, with some of the 'less eventful chapters seguing into the next.

YES
YES
I think the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout would be a great series. Kind of like Roswell but better and greater characters. I loved Roswell though and have been waiting for another alien show. The Lux Series would make an Epic one if they picked the right cast, Specially Daemon.

Watching Daemon on a TV Show once every week?!
*daydreams* Yep. I could do that!!

They'd have to pick the perfect guy though. If the cover model can act I'd go for him. He's SEXY!
You never know, maybe they'll see sense, after all if they have the rights for the HP movies and given how popular it is, I'm pretty sure some film exec will steal the idea and float it to the bosses. If what I hear about Twilight having a series is true, Potter deserves at least to have one too!
Don't tell me there are more Twihards than Potterheads, or whatever collective noun they use to refer to themselves:p HP has, in my view, much more scope and potential to be turned into a series, perhaps a petition ought to be set up or something:)
I haven't even read the Mother of All Vampire Novels, but I am an extreme Potterhead.
I would readily sign that petition. And then a thousand more times under four dozen fake names.

The Mother of All Vampire Novels? Twilight? Surely you don't mean that:p ,that's like calling the Hunger Games a more insightful look into human nature when society retreats than the Lord of the Flies:p

Here, here!! Potterheads everywhere should make that petition immediately!

Everyone compares every other vampire novel to Twilight. So although it may not be the Mother, it is definitely a contributing factor to today's paranormal romance novels.
Woolfie wrote: "One reason why I despair of current YA paranormal romance, it has domesticated the devil:p"Agreed!!!
I'd love to see
this kind of Angelfire series as a show, I reminds me of Buffy
To be honest, i am not sure if Harry Potter would work as well if it became a TV drama series?? mmmm...can't really think of anything.

I confess that I am not a big fan of paranormal romance :/
I confess that I am not a big fan of paranormal romance :/
The problem with paranormal romance is that it ought to work, there is rich ground for a clash of realities between a supernatural creature and the human world, which is there in most YA romance, just watered down to the point where it's cool and desirable to be a monster, I mean I'm all for the tragically misunderstood creature, like in Frankenstein, but nobody wanted to sleep with him. I bet if Frankenstein was written now, he'd be handsome and pale and be created by saome sad shut in called Victoria N. Stein (Her father's Frank, you see) and...Hey that's an idea for a book, it's mine!:p I'm gonna write a trilogy and be rich I tell you!
You'll turn into a billionaire in a few days. :p
I think the Lunar Chronicles would made a really good TV show.
Yes, that is the constant factor. "This WOULD be cool, if they could do it right..."
