Ways to keep a corpse from becoming a vampire

Just as the title says, if you are suspicous of a deceased person's death, here are some ways to make sure he/she stays dead.

Break its Neck As I'm sure you all know, the spinal cord is starting in your neck (I'm saying about, so don't correct me with exact terms!) and go's down your spine. If you break or cut the spinal cord the person will be paralyzed, or die. Thus, breaking its neck (or spine) will keep it dead.

Cut of the head, and put the head in a strange place, or destroy it In a book I'm reading, the vampires can't die, but there's a debate, wether this vampire who's head was cut off, is really dead or alive. The point is, without the brain to send messages to the body, it is dead.

Disolving the head in vinegar Once again, no head, no moving body. All I'm going to say is that it must take a long time, so bring a book.

Putting a stake in it's heart You have to believe that a stake would kill the vampire, but it's pretty much just killing him/her before they do any harm.

If he/she commited suicide, burry it at a crossroad This only works if they commited suicide, but it goes with how to become a vampire.

I'm talking about by mouth. Sorry, I have some bad Twilight memories. Anyway, nowadays, the blood taken out of the body, and blah, blah, blah, so the venom would probaly get out then. (Remember, we're talking about dead bodies.)

Twilight was sort of lame. The first one wasn't that bad, but the last one was all full of family. And I saw the movie at my friend's house and in the fight scene Edward's head hit the mirror and you could see the reflections. But I thought vampires don't reflect in mirrors...

Wow, that doesn't have the same basic plot as hundreds of other books, now does it? Hmm... It's almost as original sounding as Twilight!
