Amber stayed silent, just holding his hand until they were walking out of the office. She looked up at him with a serious expression "what are you thinking about this right now?" She asked
"Just worried about you babe, I'd die if something happened to you," Jaden told her honestly. "I know there's a lot of risks with twins," He pulled her close to him once more, he stared deeply into her eyes. "I love you, I see you, and I want to just ravish you right here right now. Don't worry babe I'm all for our babies. I just care about you too."
Amber smiled softly up at him "I love you so much babe" she kissed him quickly "don't worry though, the doctors will keep me under close eye, I know you will too" she said
"Dang straight I will, so will my mama. She's probably going to call every day suggesting to you different teas to drink, everything you should and shouldn't do," Jaden chuckled as he thought of his mom.
Amber grinned "I look forward to It, I love your mom. I guess I should call mine" she said, glancing to the side
"You mean you haven't told your parents yet?" Jaden asked astonished. "You have to tell them babe, maybe it will bring you guys closer together.." He made her look at him, "I'm not taking you to another baby store until you call them."
Amber pouted majorly "but jay! I was thinking we could take the rest of the day off and just get to shopping" she said, her hand running down his arm
"Well I guess you should uh get to uh calling your pareeeents. Stop it Amberrrr," Jaden felt himself caving, he tried to stand strong though, he closed his eyes and tried not to react.
"But baaaabe, you know how I feel about them" she whispered into his earn
"Uhhhhhhhhhh,' Jaden tried to get away from her, unsuccessfully. "Oh fine, but you have to tell them by this weekend. Promise me," He rose a brow and tried to look stern with Amber.
Amber looked up at him and her lips broke into a grin "promise, cross my heart hope to-" she paused "-fly" she grinned
"Mhmm," Jaden opened the door for her to the car. "I believe you, but you better keep that promise. Oh my goodness, we're going to have buy two of everything."
"One pink, one green" she said with a smile on her face, she couldn't wait "what do you think of Xander for a boys name? And maybe maya.." She said
"Xander? I love it, he'll be a hellion. Maya? Yesssssss how do you come up with these names babe?" He closed the door after her and ran to the other side. Jaden opened up his door and slid in, he buckled up and then started pulling out of the doctor's parking lot.
Amber grinned at him "I try babe, I try. We should ask Han too though, he's going to want input"
Connor had finished up at the hospital, so he took the short walk to his private practice and went up the steps to the front door. He jiggled the handle, it was open, he walked inside. His front desk girl was already there taking calls, and doing whatever else it was she did. All Connor knew was that when she was out sick he was lost, when she was there, well things tended to run smoothly. He gave her a good morning wave before entering his dark office, he fumbled with the light switch, it soon was basked in a mellow glow. He walked to the thick blinds and opened them up, letting natural light in, he sat down behind his desk and started filling out sheets on his patients.
George pulled up in front of the cool antique house and looked out he window. "Woah, cool, look at this house, babe." He grinned and opened the car door slightly, it had been a little hobby of his to buy and renovate old houses, he was really into it. "Alright, let's find out what's wrong with you!" He chuckled and hopped out of the car, jogging over to the other side and holding the door open for Harper. "This guy is the real deal, honey. We'll get you better in no time." He gave her a peck on the cheek and grabbed her hand. "Love youuuuu..." He giggled and started leading her into the doctor's office, swinging their arms back and forth. They reached the door and pulled it open, holding it open with a grin.
Harper felt ten times more ominous once she and George had dropped off Echo. She was all frowny on the way to the doctors office. And when they pulled up she felt even worse, and God George was so happy about it. "Baaaaabbee there's nothing wrong with me!! But I love you too." She said to him, kissing his cheek when she slipped out of the car. She slipped her hand into his as they walked towards the house, looking up at its gorgeous gothic frame. "I think it's beautiful, but I don't want some doctor to give me all this medicine that just makes me feel worse..." She commented. She walked into the house and saw a woman at the desk. She smiled at the woman and said that she was a walk in. The young lady handed Harper some paperwork and asked her to fill it out. Harper nodded and took it to the waiting area, dragging George behind her.
Connor looked over the paper in front of him, it was the physical that he had given 7 year old Knightly Superior. The little patient was one of his favorite, he could talk a person's ear off but never get annoying, and he seemed to extremely enjoy talking about his friend Tokio. Tokio was also a patient of Connor's, that little girl was adorable too, and talked just as much about KNightly as he did about her. Usually he would just sign the papers and send them off to the parents so that their little boy could play soccer. Not this time though, it looked like the tests had revealed that the little one had chicken pox. He had to call the family right away, they couldn't let the little boy go to school, he was highly contagious. He picked up the phone and dialed the Superior's number, it rang and rang, and then went to the answering machine. He left a message letting the parents know what was going on, and instructed them to give him a call back. His secretary buzzed him and let him know that he had a new patient filling out paperwork. Connor stood, went over to a metal hook and took his white coat off of it, he put it on, and then opened the door of his office, it led straight out into the waiting room. He gave the sweet couple sitting there a big smile to make them feel warm and welcome. "Hello, I'm Dr. Connor," He said as he stepped forward to shake their hands.
((Poor Knightly oh gosh))
George stood up when he saw a tall man with a doctor's coat enter the room, it must be Dr. Connor. Still holding onto Harper's hand, he gave the man a smile and shook his hand firmly. "Hello, Doctor Connor, nice to finally meet you. I've heard great tings. I'm George, and this is my lovely girlfriend Harper." He gestured to his lover standing beside him. "We're walk-ins, Harper here has been having stomach issues lately, throwing up a lot, getting headaches, I dunno, she's been getting these weird food cravings as well..." He looked over at Harper and squeezed her hand, look of deep concern spread across his face. If anything happened to her, he'd never be able to live. "Can you tell us what's wrong, Doc?"

Harper filled out the paperwork quickly, putting in her information and insurance and things like that. She finished up and handed the clipboard back to the receptionist. She walked back over to where George was sitting, but instead stayed standing, since she saw the doctor coming. George stood with her and proceeded to explain what was wrong like a mother with her child. Harper shook the doctors hand next and smiled at him "Nice to meet you," she said, then rambled off her name again. "Listen, doc. I love George but he's blowing this up a little. I'm FINE. I've just been getting a little sick and some headaches. I think it's just a virus." She told him, like she was diagnosing herself. She knew that George was very worried, but she was very fine, and she wanted the doctor to know that, so he could just agree with her and she could go to work.
Dr. Connor nodded with a concerned expression on his face as George explained the problems that his girlfriend, Harper, was having. Well from everything he was saying it sounded like she might just be pregnant. If that was the case, well he was going to recommend her to his new partner, Saif, she was a Pediatrician, so that would be perfect for this young girl and her baby. (I'm bringing Saif back whoop and her and Dr. Connor will share the practice) The girlfriend seemed to be in complete denial, okay then. Proof it was. "Of course lets get you both in a room so we can do some tests and such, Mr. George if you could wait out here?" Connor tried to give Harper a reassuring smile before leading the way to an examining room, it was here that the tests will be done and he could see what was really going on with the couple.
((Js Harper is gonna be so happy. She's gonna turn into a gooey happy pregnant lady omg))
((Can we make just Harper go in with the doctor though?? And like worse wait outside??? I just want her to run into the waiting room and hug and tell him ^-^ feels))
George sighed and sat back down resentfully, he wanted to be there for Harper, and make sure she was going to be okay. But if the doctor wanted him to stay out in the waiting room, fine, he would. He just hoped Harper would be okay. What could be wrong with her? For some reason, he felt like it was all his fault that Harper was sick, and he just wanted to make it all better. It was a habit of his, getting all worked up over something that was fairly small. "Well, whatever it may be, Doctor Connor can fix it. Harper will be okay, George, don't worry, don't worry." He sighed and sifted through the magazine pile on the side table. "Ummmm... People." He picked up the magazine and started flipping through it, but he could barely concentrate on what was happening in Kim Kardashian's life when his girlfriend could be deathly ill or something. "It's okay, it's okay..." He attempted to read an article, but couldn't help looking up every few seconds at the door, waiting for Harper to come out and for her to be all better again.
Harper smiled at George and kissed his cheek before leaving, giving him a reassuring glance before she walked into the exam room. She looked at the doctor when they walked in and toyed with her hair a little bit. "So doc, I don't really like to worry George, because he gets really freaked out when I'm sick. But do you have any idea what this is?? I've been vomiting every morning for days now, and I have these awful headaches. But my appetite hasn't been touched at all, and I have absolutely no fever." She told him, revealing that she actually was a little bit worried. What if it was some kind of condition that she had?? Not a virus but a real lasting problem??? She followed doctor Connor the exam room and sat on the bed covered in paper, looking at him with raised brows.
Connor could tell that the boyfriend was not exactly happy about having to stay behind, but there wasn't going to be a choice. Because he wanted to give this girl the choice on whether to tell her boyfriend or not. It would be better that way, before he had involved parents and boyfriends and it sometimes ended in hysterics or breakups, better to be safe than sorry. He took up the chart that his secretary had given to him and started reading over what Harper had written down, the symptoms were definitely pointing one way. A smile tugged at his lips, "Well Ms. Harper I'm going to have to run some tests before I can tell you anything concrete," Connor sat on the rolling chair and put himself up to the bed, "I'm going to take some blood here. And then I'm going to put it into that little mixer thing over there. It will tell us a few things," He took a plastic bag out of a drawer, it held an IV and tubing inside, he opened it up, then cleaned the area in the crook of her left elbow. He tied a rubber band type thing around her upper arm just before he patted the vein in the crook of Harpers elbow, then he said, "1, 2.." He put the needle in, "3." He opened the valve and blood flowed into a tiny tube. Once done he pulled the needle gently out and put a bandaid on it that had little bunnies on it, then he threw the needle and tubing away and put the blood tube into the spinning thing and turned it on. "Now we wait," He told Harper as he turned and sat back in the chair.
Harper pursed her lips at the doctor, he was being painstakingly vague with her. She didn't like it, but there wasn't much that she could do. He was taking notes on what she said and then he talked about drawing blood. Harper cringed instinctively when he pulled out a needle to draw her blood with. She wasn't exactly sure why he was testing her blood to begin with. What could he tell from that. Once he'd stuck the needle in her arm though, it hit her. Doctor Connor was still drawing blood and she gasped slightly "Oh my god. Do you think I'm pregnant???" She asked with raised brows. She hadn't thought of that before. But all the symptoms.... No. She couldn't be pregnant. That would be insane....
Connor chuckled, she was a quick one, that was for sure. "It is a possibility, yes." He admitted to her as he took a spin in his chair and then stopped to get closer to her bed some, "But it could be something else. Maybe you have a virus, or something else wrong with you." He shrugged his broad shoulders, "But I'll tell you now that I truly think that with your symptoms you are pregnant. You checked no on the birth control pills, or any medical contraceptives. Which means you're either not using protection at all, or your using condoms, which can have a hole in them any time. So yes, very real possibility that you are pregnant." Connor got up and went to check the machine, it had stopped spinning, a slow grin curled over his lips, he turned and walked over to Harper, he took one of her hands into his, "Ms. Harper I'm happy to congratulate you and your boyfriend, you are pregnant."
Harper bit down on her lip when the doctor admitted what he thought. She felt her nerves twist around in her stomach "I can't take birth control, my periods are too irregular. I'm anemic." She explained to him. She and George had always used condoms, but that was all. She told George that when they started having sex, so he knew. When the machine stopped spinning she held her breath. Then doctor Connor was coming over and taking her hand in his. He told her with a big smile that she was pregnant and tears pricked harpers eyes. She was shocked, truly, but was so ecstatic about the news. "Oh my god.." She muttered, covering her mouth in the shock, hiding a wide grin. "Wow. Pregnant. So, so I'm going to be a mom? A real actual mom??" She took a deep breath, trying to hold in all the excitement that she was feeling. Any normal woman would've asked how far along she was and all these questions about health, but not Harper "Uhm, wow, can we take a five minute break?? I, I have to go tell George." She said, her grin obvious by then.
Connor was relieved when he saw how happy she was, Harper seemed to be really ecstatic. "Oh of course," He got out of the way so that she could go out to her husband, "When your done with him though I'd like to take you over to my partner's office and let you meet with her, she will take over your case and she is a skilled pediatrician and OBGYN. You'll love her, very upbeat, great with kids, and she cares about her patients." Connor patted her on the back as she left the room, finally a happy couple that he could send over to Saif. She had literally arrived in Russia only the day before, and had come straight over to begin setting things up in her office and hadn't left yet. She still needed to take her things to her roommates cottage, but she had slept in the office and then started working again as soon as daylight appeared it seemed. He was glad to have her on board, and was eager to transfer his minor patients, and any pregnant women over to his partner. She needed patients to worry about and take care of, doctors needed patients, it was just the way things worked in the medical field.
Harper nodded excitedly to him on her way out of the room "Oh, yeah, of course." She said with a "professional" nod. There was nothing serious or professional about Harper just then, she was too full of joy to think straight. There wasn't even a thought in her mind that George wouldn't be happy about the baby. She pulled open the door and walked quickly into the waiting room. She went right up to George "Babe, babe." She said excitedly, pulling him up out of his sitting position so she was looking up at him. Harpers eyes were sparkling, her blonde hair falling back behind her head "George, I'm pregnant." She said, the smile seemingly permanent on her face. She was sure that her face would be hurting from smiling so much, but right then she didn't care. She was going to be a mother, everything was perfect.
George's head snapped up from People when he heard someone re enter the room. Harper! He leaped out of his seat and rushed up to her with a giant bear hug. "Oh gosh, I was worried about you! Are you okay? Are you sick? Are y-" He heard her say something unbelievable. Pregnant? He pulled away, still holding her, but now he could look at her face. "Harper... you're... you're pregnant? Omigosh!" His eyes lit up and he jumped up and down, taking Harper with him. "Omigosh, omigosh, omigosh, you're pregnant! Omigosh! I'm going to be a Dad! I'm going to be a Dad to a little baby! Omigosh! Harper!" He giggled excitedly and pressed his lips passionately against hers. He still couldn't believe it, all of the excitement was rushing over him like a huge wave and he didn't think he'd ever been so happy in his entire life. He pulled away from the kiss and just stared at her for a moment, this beautiful lady was going to be the mother of his child, they were going to raise a little one together, and with their two wonderful foster kids, they were going to be one big happy family. He couldn't help the little tear droplets as he hugged her again, nuzzling into her head. "I love you so much, Harper."
Harper bit down on her lip while George went mute for a moment. She was encased in his arms already. But then she saw the smile break on his face and she grinned fully at him. He was just as excited as she was, she knew that would be how it ended up. George loved family and everything about it, and having their own kid was a dream of both of theirs "Yes!! We're going to be parents to a beautiful child and raise him or her oh my god what if it's a girl?" She questioned to herself, but then George swept her up in a kiss, and Harper wasn't arguing. She kissed him back deeply and looked up at him afterwards "I'm so excited to have a baby, God I had no idea how much I wanted this until Doctor Connor said it. I love you so much." She said, nuzzling her head into the cotton of his shirt.
George released Harper from a bear hug and held onto her hands, swinging them to and fro. "No matter what gender the baby is, I'm gonna suffocate it in hugs and kisses and love them forever." He knew he was going to make this kid into a little indie-loving glasses-wearing hipster. He was going to dress them in old band shirts and skinny jeans and submerge them with his strange music and cult films and they were going to be adorable. "But I know you would love a little girl to dress up and have tea parties with and such. Oh goodness, we have to start picking out names, and buying baby stuff, and clear out a space for the nursery, maybe the little office on the second floor? And we have to start looking at preschools, and we have to start saving for college, and..." He shook his head, there was so much to do, having a baby would be a lot of work, but if anyone could do it, it was him and Harper. "Oh, we gotta tell the kids, I bet they're going to be so excited, Harper, I can't wait..." He smiled and kissed her again, ugh, he was just so excited and happy, he couldn't contain himself.
Harper laughed out of sheer joy "Oh I don't care if it's a boy or a girl, I'm just so excited to have a baby of our own on the way. George we're going to be amazing parents. If there's anyone on earth that I would want to raise a child with, it would be you." She told him with a sincere look in her eyes. She was so happy about the baby. This meant w whole new chapter for the both of them. Harper places her hands on his cheeks when he started to freak out "Shhhh it's okay, we have time. We have plenty of time." She told him with an easy smile on her face "We can do all of that in time George, this baby isn't coming tomorrow." She promised, leaning in to kiss him one more time "Doctor Connor wants me to go see the OBGYN, can you cork this time?? I want you to be with me George." She told him, looking at him like he was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. Her eyes showed that while she was excited, Harper was a little bit afraid to go through a pregnancy.
He chuckled, he couldn't help feeling nervous and overwhelmed, but Harper made him feel better. "Yeah, I know, but it's like, now we have to worry about a whole new set of things, I want our baby to have a perfect, happy life." He smiled and placed his hand on her tummy, giving her another smooch. "Ah, yes, love, I would be much obliged." He was excited that he actually got to go with her this time, and not have to worry about her from the waiting rom. "Let's go." He grabbed her hand and walked with her slowly into the pediatrician's office. "Ack, I'm so excited, Harper. Our baby is going to be perfect."
((Shall we discuss the baby in plot development or do you just want to wing it and decide when Harper pops it out??? XD))
((We can start discussing if you want :3))
Harper shook her head "No, not worry. Think. We have new things to think about, and it'll all be okay. Right??" She asked him with happy ble eyes. Harper kissed his lips, her hand resting over his on ehe stomach. It was so hard for her to believe that she was carrying a child. She had honestly never known if she would be able to have her own kids. With the anemia problems that she had the doctors said it was unlikely, so Harper had just taken in foster children. But this, this was a miracle. A rare, wonderful miracle for she and George. She had a wide smile on her face as she walked back towards the exam room with George, and found Doctor Connor waiting for them inside "We're ready to see her." She said in a giddy tone of voice.

Dr. Connor watched on as the couple embraced and seemed to be talking excitedly, he folded his arms across his chest and leaned against the door jam as he watched them from afar. They looked so happy, he loved it when he had these types of visits, happy ones. Sure he wasn't specialized in Pedes, but damn if he wasn't tempted as a fifth year resident. Infants, babies, births, all of it made people happy. But Connor also enjoyed helping others, adults and seniors alike and he really enjoyed surgery, so that was why he was on call at the hospital during his free time. The couple started back to him, Connor backed into the room and tried to look busy, Ms. Harper spoke to him and he gave them both a reassuring smile. "Of course, just this way," He told her before leading them out of the exam room and to an adjoining door, he opened it and showed them into what looked like a parlor room filled with toys and parent magazines. As well as a pot of tea on an antique table with real china tea cups and saucers. "Will you let Dr. Saif know that she has a pair of new patients?" He told Saif's temp that was filling in as secretary until they could find someone more permanent. "I'll leave you safely in her hands then," He told Ms. Harper and Mr. George, "Have some tea if you like." Connor left the room and returned to his side of things.
Saif was on the phone with a freaking out parent, her name was Fang and she wasn't happy at all about Toki possibly having chicken pox. She was trying to calm the mother down, reassuring her that the disease wasn't going to hurt the child as long as she didn't scratch the bumps and didn't have an irate fever. Fang had only recently adopted the little girl with her partner, Chanel, and that alone was a lot of pressure on the mother, obviously. "Mrs. Fang I understand that this is a lot and will take you away from your work, but you have to calm down. You freaking out will not help your daughter, if Toki is having too many problems you and your wife are welcome to bring her in and I'll have a look as well as prescribed her some cream for the itching." Fang told Dr. Saif that they would discuss it and get back to her, Saif hung up and rubbed her temples, first day on the job and there was this chick pox outbreak, wonderful. Her secretary came in and informed her that she had new patients in the waiting area. Saif nodded and took a deep breath before slipping on her white coat over her Dr. Who scrubs, then she headed out to the waiting room.

George chuckled softly, he was being a bit silly, and he knew that, but he couldn't help flipping out over the baby. George was a pretty dramatic person already, and now that Harper is pregnant with his kid, he's already going crazy, trying to make everything absolutely perfect. "Think. Right, think, and it'll be just fine, and our baby will be perfect." He took a deep breath and gave a small smile, reminding himself to take it down a notch. He didn't want to stress out Harper, he's heard before that stress is terrible for a pregnant woman. He kissed her back quickly and turned to the doctor and nodded, excited to met their pediatrician and start planning for their new arrival. He gave a big, toothy smile to Harper and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, leaning over to kiss her all over her cheeks and neck, just being extra lovey dovey. He would love her no matter what. He pulled away when he heard someone enter the room, he looked up to see a young woman in a doctor's coat making her way towards them. "Hi, you must be Dr. Saif. I'm George, and this is the lovely Harper. And it seems that we're having a baby here." He smiled and rubbed his girlfriends stomach a little, then extended his hand for a shake. "A pleasure to meet you."
((Doctor who omg I love Saif already))
Harper gave a little wave to doctor Connor when he left them in the other doctors waiting room. She sat down next to George and nodded "Yep, perfect of course. Everything about our baby will be absolute perfection." She said, then giggled when George started to lay random kisses all over her face and neck. She laughed softly, shying away from her loving boyfriend and to the other side of her comfy chair. She threw her blonde hair into her face to hide the slight blush that was coming to her cheeks, and happily popped up when she saw the doctor coming out into the waiting room, escaping her silly George and smiling at the woman. "Hello miss, are you the doctor?? I have a lot of questions and I bet George has twice the ones I have. I'm a bit nervous." She said, biting down on her pink lip.

Saif walked into the waiting room to find a couple there, snuggling or something, they looked adorable to be honest. Saif smiled as the male stood up and introduced himself and his other half. "Hello, yes I'm Dr. Saif, pleasure to meet you both I'm sure. Lets go into my office and discuss the future little Harper or George," Saif led the couple into her cozy office and gestured to the two oversized stuffed chairs in front of her desk. Saif was all about comfort, she sat down in her own thick, leather, rolling office chair behind her broad desk. "I know you have questions, and I'll be happy to answer every one, just first can you tell me a little about you both? Is this your first child? Has there been any miscarriages or problems with a pregnancy or getting pregnant before?" Saif was a thorough doctor and she liked to know her patients history, present and future.
