Dr Connor & Dr Saif's General Practice

Dr. Connor attended Yale and graduated with honors, he loves his patients and has the best bedside manner.
His practice takes up residence in an antique home, he felt that this would make his patients more comfortable when they entered the building, instead of some steel like facility that smelled of bleach and other chemicals, and lights that could blind. His office has a more homey effect to it.

Saif Haynes also went to Yale, she performed her residency at New York Medical, then traveled the world volunteering at poverty stricken hospitals and clinics before she was offered a partnership with Dr. Connor. She took him up on it immediately, she has a wonderful relationship with little people(children) and is a great OBGYN.

Dr Connor put on his white coat and nodded his head to his medical assistant that took his phone calls and made appointments. He walked in the back to get the rooms ready for patients that would be arriving soon.

Vivian and her birthing assistant soon arrived at the place of her appointment. Vivian, with help with her assistant of course, started walking up to Dr. Connor's practice.

Ichigo pulled in just in time to see Vivian walking up to the door. He hopped out fast and ran over to her and helped her as well.

"Hey,"Vivian smiled as she saw her husband coming to help her. Her birthing assistant pushed open the door so that her and her husband could walk through.

"Hey! How are you feeling?" He asked as they entered the office. He gave the medical assistant a quick smile as they walked up.

"I am doing just fine, the birthing assistant helped a lot today,"Vivian said. "3:00 appointment for Chang," she said with a smile toward the medical assistant

The medical assistant nodded, "Have a seat Dr Connor will be right with you."

Ichigo led her over to a line of cushy seating.

Vivian sat down on a cushioned seat and she leaned her head on Ichigo's shoulder.

"I picked you up some prenatals on the way here," Ichigo told her

"I apperciate it," Vivian smiled. "How was work?"

"It was alright," he said to her and then looked up and Dr Connor walked out.

"Hi Doctor Connor," Vivian smiled.

Dr Connor flashed Vivian a smile, "Hello. Glad you decided to come in! How are we feeling?" He asked as he helped her up. Ichigo followed them into a comfortable looking room.

"Feeling good, started feeling kicks this morning," Vivian smiled.

"You look healthy, hubby is obviously feeding you well," Dr Connor said throwing Ichigo an approving smile.

"He has been so wonderful," Vivian smiled as she was helped up onto the patient's chair.

"Now are you taking prenatals? What kind of foods are you eating? Do you drink or smoke?" Connor asked her questions as he got things ready to examine her.

Ichigo frowned. Who would drink and smoke while pregnant?

"Yes I am taking the prenatal prescription you gave me. Hubby has been making me some good food, but this morning I had the craving for Everything But The Kitchen Sink ice cream," Vivian chuckled softly, but then rose a brow," I don't smoke, nor do I drink. I only drink on ocassion," Vivian finished.

"Well sweets are fine on occasion, just not for every meal," he said with a light chuckle. "I know how you girls get with your cravings. Now no drinking at all while pregnant. I could see you're having a hard time getting around on your own so I'm going to recommend going to the chiropractor every other week. He or she will massage your back and a bit of your belly to help you not have pain, make you more comfortable. This might be cold," he had raised her shirt and was about to put the jelly on so he could do an ultrasound.

Vivian shuddered a bit because of the coldness, but then she got used to it. She nodded at everything the doctor was saying. "Alright, that sounds good. Do you know any good chiropractors in town?"

"Yeah I have one let me give her a ring before you leave. Oh look there," he showed them the babies moving around a little in Vivian's stomach. "Those two are going to be a handful. Are your other children excited?"

Vivian looked at Ichigo to answer this one. She was slightly lost and had a slightly pained look on her face.

"No they don't know yet..." Ichigo pipes up and squeezed Vivian's hand.

"Oh I see, I'm sure they'll be ecstatic when you tell them. Though how they don't know...." He looked at Vivian's swollen stomach.

"We're planning on telling them tonight, when they come home from school," Vivian said, squeezing Ichigo's hand back.

"Oh I see, well I hope all goes well, your boy and girl look perfectly healthy so keep up whatever it is you're doing. If anything strange happens call me without hesitation, I do make house calls," Connor covered her stomach after wiping off her belly.

Ichigo squeezed her hand back and smiled, everything would be fine.

"Thank you so much Doctor Connor," Vivian smiled and she intertwined her and Ichigo's fingers.

"If you'll see my assistant she will set up your next appointment and you two can be on your way," Connor grinned widely at the adorable couple.

Ichigo helped Vivian out to the waiting room to make the next appointment.

Irina poked her head into the consultation room, she was on a work placement for the week. She was in her second year studying medicine and Irina had been lucky enough to get a placement so near to the university. "Uh Dr Connor I don't know that we've been introduced yet but do you mind if I sit in on the next consultation?" She asked, tucking a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear.

"Okay, thank you very much Doctor," Vivian shook his hand and went with her husband. She smiled at the lady at the door and she continued walking, being careful with her steps.

Dr Connor looked up to find a pretty little thing peeking into his room, he listened to what she had to say and nodded his head. "That will be just fine, I should have a couple coming in soon so you won't have to wait long. Here take this," he handed her a long white coat to put on over her clothes.

Ichigo helped her out to her car with her assistant after they made a new appt.

Vivian talked to the person behind the desk and they had their next appointment in three days.

Irina smiled brightly and accepted the white coat, slipping it on over her loose blouse and plainly coloured chinos. She thrust her blonde hair up into a loose pony tail and took a seat in the corner of the room. Irina pulled out a small note pad and a pen and leaned back in the chair, looking incredibly studious. "I'm Irina by the way, the work placement girl." She told him for clarification.

"Irina? Nice to meet you, I'm Connor," he put his hand out to shake hers in greeting. "So are you happy about your choice of work?" He asked to make conversation while they waited. He started removing the paper covering from where Vivian had just been sitting and out a new one on for the next patient. Cleanliness was key.

Death walked in with Danny, his hand held hers tightly. Neither of their parents knew that they were at the doctors office to check and see if Danny was pregnant or not.

Danny holds his hand tight very scared "what if I'm pregnant?"

"Then we'll take care o it," Death replied with a bit of fear in his voice. His dad would probably kill them.

The doctor calls them in. They wait in the room for them "I don't want to kill the baby "

Irina shook his hand and gave him a warm smile. "Of course Connor, it's a very rewarding career choice. I'm only in my second year but I'm enjoying the entire course it's very interesting." She told him, folding her hands in her lap. Irina glanced up as the next patients came in, a young girl and guy. Irina chewed her lip this ought to be interesting.

Death whispered, "We won't." He held her hand safely in his own as they entered the patient room.

Dr Connor listened to her and was about to say something when the young couple entered. They were the ones that called about confidentiality. "Hello there, I'm Dr. Connor, this is," he let his young intern introduce herself. It was good to let her get a bit involved.

"I'm Irina, I hope you don't mind if I sit in on this do you? I'm an intern, training to be just like Dr Connor here." She told them with a gentle smile, tucking her hair behind her ear and looking between the two of them with large brown eyes.

"It's fine , she can stay," Death didn't care In the least. He just wanted to know if she was or not so he could decide on what he was gonna do next.

Connor smiled friendly like at them trying to put them at ease, "She won't say anything either. She by law has to keep everything confidential just like me." He led Danny to the bed so he could examine her. (Do you want her pregnant or no?)

Danny nods very nervous and she got on the bed. She didn't know what to do. What if she was pregnant?
