The first story is about a journalist/Reporter that is attacked in her home and the hero is a detective that saves her life and they fall in love while trying to find the bad guy. The second book is about the bother of the journalist in the first book. He is living on an island off of Georgia when his ex-wife comes to him for help after finding drugs in artwork she is selling.
