I just can't imagine being introduced to the world any other way! Be prepared though - things get bogged down for a few books around number ten or do (forget exactly and each person has different opinion haha)

With how involved that Jordan's wife was with the entire process I cannot believe that this is true at all. I imagine she would have just rejected it and got someone else to do it if Sanderson tried to pull that. I also wouldn't expect Sanderson to try that, everything I have read has him as being very respectable towards Jordan.
In an interview that Sanderson gave while working on the WoT, he said that RJ had an half finished manuscript. Some chapters were completely written, others just had a rough outline of what would happen. Sanderson took the manuscript and finished it, after reading the whole series from the beginning.
