Chris Ward (chriswardfictionwriter) | 19 comments Just had to share that. I'm a huge fan of Stephen King and I actually read Hunger Games over the weekend. It was a lot more brutal than I expected and therein lies a lot of the similarities, I think. I wish the sales figures were comparable . . . !

One reviewer said about my book Tube Riders,

"This book about a dystopian future was an enjoyable read. Its rhythm, kind of reminded me of King's "Dark Tower" series. I was surprised to later learn that this book was touted as a "young " adult" book. This 72 year old young adult found it to be a good read."

and the other one

"If you loved The Hunger Games then you will love this one. I couldn't wait to read what happened next and will definently buy the sequel."

It's not as good as Dark Tower (okay, it's better than 5 and 6, both of which sucked :-) ) but it's better than Hunger Games. Time will prove me right ...!
