Mindy (SKSAINI) | 9 comments I'm an aspiring writer and consistent blogger. I'm creating a supernatural/crime themed novel called Murder Case: The Secret. I'm halfway through writing and since publishing my novel chapters on my blog, I've gotten only two comments about it, but none seem to review my work too.

If someone can just read over it and give me advice and feedback, I'll be forever grateful. I'd like others to see my writing as it's always a learning process.

Also, if you like it, please follow me and I'll do the same. :)

Thank you everyone!

JoAnn Hill (joannlhill) | 15 comments Hello Mindy, I attempted to write a review of your chapters, but my lap-top is acting up and I was unable to continue. I am getting a new lap-top tomorrow. Exciting! After all my info is tranferred, the first of the week, I will try again. My web-site is www.apatchablue.com This will get you to my blog also, in case you want to take a look. I'm an old bird that does a lot of reading and writing. Good luck with your writing. JoAnn Hill

Hi, JoAnn! Thank you for attempting to read it. It sucks that your laptop is acting up and hope you have fun with your new one tomorrow!!
I've seen your blog and I'm following you. You have amazing writing skills and I love how you review books you've read too. I love how to extend your review to changes that could be done to make it better. You are perfect to review my work.
Thank you so much. I recently won a writing competition. This was my review for a short prompt I won:

""Mindy's story won me over because of her voice and tight use of tension. For someone calling themselves an amateur writer, she has a very professional grasp of those skills, and it makes her story a fun, easy read that bounces right along. She gives strong emotion to her characters. She can take this piece of tight flash fiction, very short, and make it spine-chillingly creepy with the way she flips the tables in the end scene. You go from feeling so much empathy and concern for the stranger on the plane to feeling downright terrified of him! You have a way with tension that is right up there with any professional thriller writer I've ever read!"
