Is Robert Pattinson really hot enough to look like Edward from the book?

I looked him up and ihave to agree with Natalia. He would have been better. I always pictured Edward like him in the book. But it is just and opinion and Rob is Edward and Edward is just too awesome to try to fill his shoes. I mean he is the perfect guy in everyway and, lets face it, NORMAL guys just aren't like that (unfortunatly.)

Didn't see picture Tom when she was describing Edward? I have that stuck in my head that I read that in an interview. But by the time they started filming he was too old. I think he is older then Rob, but he doesn't look like it

I agree with Gise, there is not a guy that looks like the discription of Edward in the book but his doing a good enough job,especialy his intensity. On the other, although I think Kristen is doing a good job, she is missing some of Bella personality discribed in the book.

I think the only thing tom doesn't have is the right hair color. Other than that I LOVE him as Edward.

what do u mean? didnt u image that edward would be someone more "hot" and romantic unlike robert pattinson? in the book they say edward had a "velvety voice" but robert doesnt have a velvety voice, his is just plain sexy
No human person can compete with Edward, but Rob does about as good as you could get.
