Jay-me (Janet) | 3784 comments I've thought of a challenge for myself this year - in addition to just counting the number of books read I will be counting how many series I can read. I realise that some series will not be completed as some books are not on kindle, but I will try to read from book 1 in order.
I have already made a start as I've read a few books from a couple of series so far. I will also count series that I am continuing from last year.

Quite a few of these have been on my kindle for a while - sometimes because I have been waiting for the first book in the series to be in the Amazon sale ;)
So I am also managing to clear my TBR list. (I will still buy any new books that are by authors that I have read and enjoyed previously & will also keep my eyes open for the daily deals and future sales for books that are on my wishlist)

1. I have read all 30 odd of the "normal" discworld books & will read any further ones that are published, but don't intend including them in this challenge - this is going to be series that I have started reading since I got my kindle two and a bit years ago.

2. I haven't actually read the first Discworld Science book - The Science of Discworld

3.. I started reading The Science of Discworld III: Darwin's Watch sometime last year but got a bit bogged down with all the real science.

Some series are on hold because the next books are way too expensive

Plus I've found so many more series to start reading.

I will try to get this up to date and add the latest books with store tags as soon as I can.

Some series are now complete.
Some are still waiting for the next books to come down in price as they are out of my price range
Some are waiting for the next books to be written
Some are just waiting for me to get around to reading them.
I will carry forward to next year only those partly completed series that I really intend to read.
