I have been wanting to read this for a while. It seems that most writers who delve into someone else's world get criticized, but Scalzi got some great accolades for this...
I just got both Altered Carbon and this from the library - it might take me a week or two, but eventually I'll be chiming in!
I just finished Fuzzy Nation and Little Fuzzy - the audible version included them both! I thought they were great. Only took 2 days to listen to both.
I have to hit up Little Fuzzy directly. Little Fuzzy appears to be a story that rippled out in to other Fuzzy directions including this one and that is kind of an interesting effect.
I really liked this book. I was worried it would feel dated, but I think Scalzi did a great job of keeping the essence of the story while updating it with a more modern feel. I found myself smiling a lot while reading this. Loved the fuzzies and the dog in particular.
I just finished this last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had never read the original Little Fuzzy but I downloaded it so that I can read it and see how the two compare. Like Tad I found myself smiling alot and there may have even been a chuckle or two. Loved Carl and the fuzzies. I would recommend this book to people.
