Just testing to see how many people are attracted to dumb questions. My last stupid question got over 100 replies, so...

I have claimed this thread in the name of Doctor Who. Confusion is to be expected.

lol!

Of course there is a question! It's the First Question. It's the question that must never be answered. It's waiting for us at the Fields of Trenzalore along with the Fall of the Eleventh. It's a question that he's been running from all his life.
And that question is... Doctor who?
Actually, you know what, I am pretty sure that was not the question that Catherine was thinking of. It's the question we all are silently asking, though!

Never blink in front of a Weeping Angel. They look like angels, oh sure, but only when you're looking at them. If you turn away... if you blink... they become something different entirely. And they're fast. Faster than you can run. If you get touched by a Weeping Angel you're sent back in time and then you live to death.
And don't get me started on the Silence...

I wish. Nope, I just stalk it obsessively as an outsider.

Firefly is welcome, too! :) God, I love Mal.

I did that for MONTHS

List of Doctor Who phrases that will make me cry
•You were fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And you know what? So was I.
•Take me back!
•And I suppose, if it’s my last chance to say it: Rose Tyler…
•Oh, Donna Noble. I am so sorry. But we had the best of times.
•Hello, Doctor. It is so very, very nice to meet you.
•I don’t want to go.
•Come along, Pond. Please.
They don't sound sad. But when you're a Whovian, every scene that they're from is playing out in your head, and you get very weepy.

And now I'm going to sit back and watch it while the rest of you wait in absolute AGONY! Allonsy!

TO ALL NON-WHOVIANS, PLEASE READ THIS!
The episode that Leyah is uploading is a great starter episode, and I highly recommend it as a good place to begin if you wish to see what Doctor Who is about. It is clever, scary, and introduces the magic of what the show gives. Please watch it when it's uploaded, and I hope you like it.

You made it sound much more appealing than I did.
Who is stronger The Capitan or Jane? And by The Capitan I mean Mel, god I love Firefly!

Acceptable. Trés good.

Is Doctor Who really a good TV series?
I've been meaning to watch it...
Also, which one do I start on?

Jayne might be incredible strong (and full of thrilling heroics!), but Mal can intimidate him. Mal is pure badass, so my money is on him.

Wait for about half an hour, and I'll have it on Youtube. It's called Blink and it's one of the best episodes on the show. And scariest.

Doctor Who is an amazing television series, and this is coming from someone who wasn't a fan of sci-fi before watching the show (I have since done a complete 180 on that position). I recommend Blink, like Leyah said, and also (if you get the chance) I recommend "The Eleventh Hour," which is the first episode of the fifth series. It is the first episode to feature the Eleventh Doctor, and it gets you up to speed on all the timey-wimey business of the show.
There's also this video which is a good overview of the show and gives you an idea of what it's about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOnX_a...

What's pathetic is that I've done all of those things.
