I will read at least two sets of 13 Cozy Mysteries in 2013.

It just occurred to me that at the moment I'm rereading a brand new cozy. Just finished the first draft of Rooms To Die For, the 4th in my Murders by Design Mystery Series. Jane, does this one count?
#4, Scrapbook of Secrets
, finished 2/4/13. ★★★★Review here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Wow Jane - you'll be finished soon. I saw Barb's doing it three times, for 39 books. How many are you going for? ☺
I LOVE Chet and Bernie! I've only read the first Meg Lanslow book, and would like to read more of them. I think I need to devvote a few weeks or even a month to reading cozies, I'm so far behind.
That was my first Chet and Bernie, and now I LOVE them too! I am now reading A Cat Was Involved: A Chet and Bernie Mystery eShort Story
. It's about how Chet flunks out of K-9 school and ends up with Bernie and, yes, apparently, a cat is involved - lol.
Shirley wrote: "Could you tell me if Open Season is considered to be a cozy?"Probably not. Nobody has shelved it as a cozy, and it's been been shelved 37 times as thriller or suspense.

Well now I'm depressed! I don't have an e-reader, and I just checked my libraries download service and no luck there :( Oh well, I've sort of made the story up myself :D

I also have Calibre, a free eReader.

With Calibre, I can convert iBooks to mobi (or whatever Kindle uses). From the User Manual:
"calibre is an ebook library manager. It can view, convert and catalog ebooks in most of the major ebook formats. It can also talk to many ebook reader devices. It can go out to the Internet and fetch metadata for your books. It can download newspapers and convert them into ebooks for convenient reading. It is cross platform, running on Linux, Windows and OS X."

jaxnsmom wrote: "Thanks for the link!"I got this message today from Chet The Dog on Facebook:
Did we mention there's going to be another e-story this summer - like A Cat Was Involved, but different? It starts like this: "Old Mr. Parsons knocked on our door." Maybe you know what it's about already.
jaxnsmom wrote: "That's great! Mr. Parsons, hmmm...is he the next door neighbor, Oscar's owner?"It must be, but I can't remember for sure. That was a long time ago when I read Book 1 and the short story, way back in March. ;)
