Stephen I was four chapters in before I realized that I was dealing with an alternating chapter POV situation. I wish that they'd made that clearer sooner.

I think it was fairly clear that there were alternating chapters at first. Though I admit, with alternating chapters I get extremely confused over which character is narrating because I forget the chapter changed

Martha the distinct puntuation, One WG being properly capitalized and the other not, made it quite easy for me to figure out which character I was reading.

Hec Hernandez i love altenating chapter books

Katie Listen, I didn't realize they were alternating chapters until both WGs met each other at Frenchy's! I thought that the first chapter was what was really going on in WGs life and then the second chapter was like a diary, and so on, until I got to the part at Frenchy's! I was so confused and surprised, I had to go back and skim through what I'd already read so I could put the thoughts in the right WG's mind!

Danielle I knew that there were two seperate Will Graysons but what confused me sometimes was trying to remember which one had done or said what. It was hard to keep the two different personalities straight for me.

Stanci ME! I'm not kidding, I was 100 pages in and had to start over. Was so mad at myself for missing it. What was wrong with me? I loved this book. So. Much.

■©atherine■ Really??? I never thought people would find it confusing cause it was pretty obvious for me. :)

Nikki It was clear to me because one WG capitalized and the other didn't, like he was texting or something. Also they had very distinctly diferent personalities. But I get how you could miss it.

Nikki Is it weird that I kind of like books that are confusing like that?

Beau I sort of head a heads up. John Green himself indirectly recommended this book to me. (He told all of his YouTube viewers about it and explained the chapter thing)

SAME!!! ... I think not realizing is what made me love this book. Of course I knew from the synopsis that there were two WG but I didn't realize that the story was being told from two POV's, and when they met in Frenchy's I was SO excited. Once I realized my mistake I paid much closer attention to the book.
