KarenF (cleocleveland) | 458 comments Yeah, I honestly don't know why I kept reading after book 7 or 8. They were already going downhill but I was still invested in the world and the characters. I read this one more just to see how it would end rather than any real desire to read it. Thank heavens for the public library so at least I didn't waste my money and my time. :)

KarenF (cleocleveland) | 458 comments Oh man, I loved the Lords of Deliverance series but parts of it were so dark.

I finished A Lot Like Love (FBI / US Attorney, #2) by Julie James and really liked it. Started The Virtuoso (Duke's Obsession, #3) (Windham, #3) by Grace Burrowes earlier today, so far so good.

message 558: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) I had to give up on Angel Sister by Ann H. Gabhart , to slow and it was boring me.

So now I'm reading A Moment (Moments, #1) by Marie Hall

message 559: by Carrie (new)

Carrie (icanhasbooks) Agreed Jenny, I liked the little girl Kate, but my interest in her wasn't enough this time to make me go on. It was moving at a snails pace, with time jumping. One paragraph it's in the past, the next we where in the present time (well for the book).

I received an email yesterday from Simon & Schuster about www.pulseit.com, after signing up you can read Golden online for free for a limited time. Is this how you're reading it?

message 584: by Susan (susayq ~), Moderator (new)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Jenny, you should start that series. It's improved as its gone along. This one had a lot of action and was a touch angsty. And there's a bit of humor in them. It's always nice to see alpha-males let go of the seriousness sometimes :)

message 585: by KarenF (new)
