What are you reading, Part II? (2013--New Year, New Books!)
im reading
its hilariously cliche. its about a top secret school to teach talented teens to be as evil as they can be.
finished
it was actually really good. i ended up rating it 4 stars.started Wolf's blood this morning, sofar pretty good.
I finished Resurrectionist and started Stormdancer. My library is so good, it's kind of evil. I have been checking out too many books and not reading the ones I own. But good news is I didn't have to buy all those great books I read from the library.

Read about, bought, started and finished Real last night. Damn this board. I was up til 2am.The comparisons to Kristen Ashley are in the right ballpark. Thinking about re-reading, but I was WRUNG OUT after I finished it..but maybe that was due to it being 2am.
Will be buying the next one(s) for sure.

an ATAC novella and
a Last Chance Inc novella.I really want to read
but I have to wait for the interlibrary loan.
I just finished
which I loved. I'm a huge fan of this vampire series. I'm currently reading
which is like a legal thriller with a vampire defendent and a human lawyer. Original plot idea.
Just finished Kiss of the Highlander and LOVED it...best so far in this series.Starting...The Dark Highlander now

Here are some of my recent reads:
--I read this for a challenge about worst shifter books ever. I'm pretty sure this one will win me the game. The guy's a tarantula shifter. It was as creepy as it sounds. Ick.
Uf series. It was not bad.
I know this author gets a lot of praise but I thought this book was really bad. Nothing about this story worked for me.
Vampire novel that is a spin off of another series. I loved this book. Xander was something else.
I liked this. It was the first book of the series that Xander came from. It was obviously the author's first book & there were some errors but her characters are likeable & the plot is unique. I'm going to keep reading the series because I know how much better she gets as the books go. Plus this was a freebie.
I haved mixed feelings about this book. I went into it thinking it was a CR but it's not at all. It's more a social commentary maybe? I'm about half way though & it's ok. I think I was just thrown off because it was not at all what I was expecting &/or in the mood for. I'm gonna keep slowly reading it when the mood hits.
this is a true story about a guy's pet rooster. Works for me cause I have pet chickens. :)

Bare It All is much better than Run the Risk
Huh. Good to know. I just finished Run the Risk and was contemplating about reading the next book. I will now. Thanks.

Yes! I liked this one and
the best. I knew I was going to like Rock I just didn't realized how much.
stayed up super late last night reading
it was SOOOO good!! loved it!! (which I said like 30 times in my review, lol)also thinking of starting
which is apparently really good.
Finished
- unfortunately, not as good as the earlier books. I didn't feel the love between Killian and Isobel.
Traci wrote: "I'm reading Rocky Mountain Rebel. I love this series."I read that one this past week. It was good. I was glad that Joel stood up to Jesse.
I just finished
, and I loved it! Fantastic book!
Sorry you didn't enjoy Ice Storm, Lauren. I loved it! Maybe you'll like Fire and Ice more.

I'm reading Cry No More by Linda Howard. It's a good thing that reading isn't something you do while walking around because I'm swooning so much over Diaz that I wouldn't be able to remain standing up straight. I'm 70% through it and it has everything. Intrigue, suspense, grit, complex characters, a fantastically strong heroine, and a badass that's whimper-worthy.
well I finished two books
which took me a bit to get into. and not as..... good (isn't the word im looking for...) as I excepted, do u get me?? though hearing Hannah's story though clay was incredible.and
which was really good in a strange messed up way.I ended up rating both books 3 stars.
if you read one I would recommend giving the other one a go.
someone told me that thirteen reasons why is best experienced through Audio, and though I haven't had that chance (yet) i would have to agree with them, just the way its written out I can just see how much more impact it would have on the... listener.
