How was that book Julie? It's been on my TBR list for years."

Julie's reply: I liked it. Didn't love it. I posted a review of it here on Goodreads and on my new book blog, "Chick Lit Chit Chat" (julievalerie.com).

The first chapter takes place on her honeymoon and it is an absolute LAUGH RIOT. I did post in my review that it's a bit of a "raunchy romp" (language and scenes) and not for all readers. Also, in the storyline the evil people of the world are wealthy, Christian, Republican and/or anti-gay marriage so I fear she's crossed a lot of readers out right off the bat because some of them will toss the book out of frustration for being soooooo stereo-typed. Surely, not all members of all of those groups are horrible, evil people... :)

So, yes. I liked it. But it's not for everyone.
