I met lots of authors yesterday at the RWA signing in Atlanta. I usually can only go if they're somewhere close by. I don't have the luxury of driving a couple of hours yet. Hopefully that'll change soon! :)

I have no choice but to drive if I want to meet any. We only have one (maybe two) independent book stores here (and I think they focus mainly on used books?), but they're way too small to host any kind of book signing. My library will do one every now and then, but it's usually just local authors that I've never heard of. :)

I see! We have so many best selling authors from all genres who are from Atlanta or in the state and there are hardly ever any signings in Atlanta. The RWA conference is being held in Atlanta and so I was lucky enough to go to the signing they held. :/
