message 52: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa Mae | 15 comments I am going to be reading Autumn Storm (Witchling Trilogy, #2) by Lizzy Ford Autumn Storm by Lizzy Ford. This is the second book from the Witchling Trilogy and I have loved the first book, Dark Summer (Witchling Trilogy, #1) by Lizzy Ford . I can't wait to know what will happen in this book since the first one had a massive cliffhanger. :)

Trip (shardsofromance) Over the last few days I read and finished: Doom Rider by David Gatward - Blink & Caution by Tim Wynne-Jones - The Switch by Lynsay Sands - Auracle by Gina Rosati - Give Up the Ghost by Megan Crewe

Started: Falling to Ash by Karen Mahoney although probably going to put on hold as just realised its a series and next one isn't scheduled in till 2014 ^_^

Going to start: Grave Mercy (His Fair Assassin, #1) by R.L. LaFevers Also part of a series but it seems to be the main characters are different in each one so basically stand-alone just in same places.

message 57: by Chelsea (new)

Chelsea (theycallmebookworm) | 1955 comments Just finished The Pale Assassin (Pimpernelles, #1) by Patricia Elliott , horribly disappionting with a decitedful blurb and empty 'promises'. I've started The Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus, #3) by Rick Riordan which is already much better!

message 58: by Elizabeth (new)

I've just read After the Fear by Rosanne Rivers which has a really strong heroine in!!
I'm currently readingPretty Amy by Lisa Burstein"

Definitely, It's amazing may take a chapter or 2 to get to the good parts but its worth it and I loved how realistic it was even with the assassin, convent and deaths daughters... Also the characters were well developed even those with only a small role, so you should definitely give it a go some time xD

message 77: by Simmaron (new)

Simmaron (mybookedlife) | 1119 comments Yeah. If you're talking about fallen series by Lauren Kate then I think I found all the books pretty interesting. I love the first book of any series always cuz of the introduction part. But LK wrote the other books quite nicely and maintained the curiosity. One of my fav series I can re read it as much as I want. BTW Lux series by Jenniffer L Armentrout is also awesome.

ok I misread the title beauty touched the beast and thought is was a retelling the the beauty and the beast story it is only for mature adults and was very disappointing for me so I am not recommending it in any way
