Deep under Arctic waters lies an ice kingdom carved into a glacier. Those who dwell within it possess magnificent biological secrets. Due to the dangers of impending war, the Princess of Adlivun is forced to flee her undersea utopia and regroup with her sisters in Alaska.

Captain Trevain Murphy is a successful king crab fisherman who has spent his life building his empire above the sea, and knows nothing of the empire beneath it. When he meets a mysterious dancer whose father has recently died, he extends kindness towards her, unaware of her unique genetics and royal lineage.

Trevain's attraction to the enigmatic Aazuria Vellamo will involve him in dangerous designs that will forever change his life, and his perspective on himself and his world. He embarks on perilous journeys in which he will need to release all of his insecurities and inhibitions in order to survive.

Patricia (trishria) | 134 comments Carlene introduced me to 'Succubus Blue' I love this author's writing style. I see that both Danielle and Carlene have read this book. Can we also discuss other romance series by this author as some romance book club choice suggestions if other members agree.

Chris I finished Drowning Mermaids. I enjoyed it enough to pick the second in the series. Since I read, read, and read I would be open to trying anything especially if others liked the authors style.

Danielle I read Succubus Blues for my Vaginal Fantasy book club and really enjoyed it. I've read the first Vampire Academy book by Richelle Mead and wasn't really impressed (though I'm less into YA romance). She has a couple of other series that I would be more than willing to try, Storm Born Dark Swan 1 looks pretty cool.

Chris I read Drowning Mermaids over the weekend which is Sunday and Monday for me. I had a bad cold so I tucked myself in a blanket by the fire with tea and a book. I have a book addiction problem. So far this year I have read 4 adult books(am well into a fifth)and a couple of magazines.
